Quick Take: useless
This seemed like such a nifty tool since I love false lashes but it is absolutely useless, you could just as easily put your lashes in place with a tweezer or the back of a brush, don't get it

Quick Take: extra help for stubborn eyelashes
some ppl find it useless because they don't combine this with a regular curler. This product works for stubborn, super straight eyelashes, esp for ppl like me, when i just use a regular curler, the lashes will go different direction. So you have to combine the 2. First, use the heated lash curler to separate the lashes nicely & makes a bit of curves, then followed by the regular curler. Someone says use the heated curler after applying mascara, but it doesn't work for me.

don't waste your $$$- 02.25.10
Quick Take: not necessary
for beginners like me, i thought this could help, turns out making things more complicated & frustrated. It blocks your view completely. My advice is, a good glue is a must, and dont't put too much. And i'm using a black glue, which is easier for beginners. Use a tweezer instead, before you put it on, adjust the position & the angle & look down. In the beginning, it took me half an hour to put it on & still don't do a good job, so my trick is to cut the lashes in half, put it on one by one, it's much easier & takes only 5 mins. Finished with a black liquid eyeliner to cover the mess.

At the beginning, I had trouble applying lashes on my own and thought this was a good idea. I didn't know how to get this to work and just got frustrated with it. Watching YouTube videos of people putting on lashes helped me more than this thing did.

Quick Take: tricky, handy, requires practice, good
I love putting on my false lashes, but I find that initially this little gadget can make their application tricky. I struggled with glue getting on the rubber pads and pulling the lashes off. It took a fair bit of practice to get the lashes on right without them sticking in the wrong spots, pulling off with the applicator or just plain and simply being troublesome.

I bought this just to try it out instead of trying to use tweezers or my finger nails to hold the lashes and put them on... I didn't like it and don't use it. The way it holds the lash makes them flat where they will attach to your eye, which doesn't work too well with the curvature of your eyelid.

Lash Placement kit- 11.27.09
I have no proir experience with geting these things right! Finally the extra set of hands that don't fumble! Put your lashes in the holder, glue, let rest, pick up with holder-and Viola-it works! Placed lashes with ease!
