Quick Take: gentle
I just used up my first bottles of hydrating thickening shampoo and conditioner and didn't go racing back to buy them. I thought they were fine. Gentle, good for frequent use, gave my hair nice body, but my ends have never been drier. I am using the ojon treatment which is helping, but I have not had this problem with other volumizing shamp/cond brands. Also, don't know if anyone else experiences this, but I think it's really difficult to squeeze the product out of the bottle.

I've heard it said that those who love Ojon almost revere it with a cult-like loyalty. It couldn't be truer! My daughter and have been using Ojon for about two years now--she has curly thick hair and uses the hydrating shampoo and condition--I have thin hair which wants to get thinner as I "menopause" so I use the hydrating thickening duo. I also use the Tawaka cream moisturizer for body and face (I smell like hot chocolate!) and just love it. I have very sensitive skin.

I had to use it several days before I was sure about this stuff, but I have very fine, thin, and now thinning, hair. This shampoo and conditioner is incredible. Nothing's going to work a miracle, but it makes it much healthier, shinier and naturally bouncier looking.

I spent a lot of time at the store with the sales staff that was VERY knowledgeable, so she directed me to this product. I fine hair that has been color treated. By the end of the day before using this product my hair was lifeless. After one time using the shampoo and leaving it in my hair for 2 to 3 min - I looked like I had been to the salon. I have been told that after using the product for a while the results will be even better - so I have HIGH hopes!

I have really fine, oily hair and this works very well and making it feel fuller and more shiny.
Since I have oily hair. after about 3-4 uses I have to switch to something a little more intense because my hair starts to feel weighed down.
I have tried many hair thickening shampoos and this one is my new favorite find!

A good shampoo, but it wasn't for me- 09.28.09

I liked this shampoo at first. It gave my thicker hair a lovely gloss and body, but my scalp began crawling after using it for two weeks. Only Suave makes my scalp itch that badly.
Although it was producing a beautiful mane of very long hair, I finally had to throw away the product and use a mild shampoo to stop the itching, crawling sensation.
