The Best Eyeshadow- 10.16.09
This is the first time I've tried a Christian Dior product, and I was very very happy with it. The shadows blend easily and stay on forever. The colors are flattering whether you use them alone or together. The black is very dark, so use it sparingly.

Not impressed!- 08.25.09
First off I was expecting A LOT better from Christian Dior eye shadows! Yes these colors can do A Lot for you if they actually stayed on for much longer period of time. I did use a eye shadow primer and I was still disappointed how fast it creased!!! For this amount of money and the NAME itself I was expecting a different result. The only plus side of this product are these colors in the palette.

Only wish that the middle color wasnt that light, i'm not dark skin, I'm medium skin and you can barely see the color. Otherwise, this is very good, very pigmented, perfect for georgous smokey eyes that will get noticed and will last!!

Quick Take: a little hard to open need a good grip
love the color combo, the container is a little hard to open with your nails, you need a good grip so not to drop it! Not crazy about all the metallic in eye shadow, and the shadow does not stay on for long, have to re-apply. Did I mention the color combo was good!?

Just the best eyeshadow made!- 07.08.09
Quick Take: good value, smoothes most pigmented
I've tried all of the brands, and nothing compares - even comes close - to Dior. With a little Two faced eye primer the color will last over 12 hours. Shu Umera used to come close to this but they changed their formula so go with this. The brown in the left bottom is VERY pigmented and great for liner or crease. The silver and purple have a bit of a brown base to them and are perfect for those with yellow undertones in their skin.

I love my new eyeshadow colours. They are easy to use for both day and night . The colours stay on and don't fade. Easy to create both sexy night and soft day looks. Sephora sales rep are wonderful and helpful showing how to create the looks and giving tips for the best outcome.

This is the only eye pallet you will ever need. The colors are bright and vibrant; just one swipe of the brush and your entire lid is covered. I use this for everything - the darker shades make great liners. Perfect for a casual creating both casual and dramatic looks. Ladies, this is the one!

My very first Dior Palette- 04.30.09
Quick Take: portable, money worth, silky, durable
I bought this palette back in '07 and it is amazing. This palette made me love make up. I learned a lot from this Dior palette and the colors are just sexy and smoky.

I love Dior's 5-Color Eyeshadow palettes...as a matter of fact I own them all. This one, "Night Dust 790", is full of beautiful colors that blend together perfectly. These shadows glide on silky soft and are easy to blend and smudge. At $54, this palette seems very expensive, but honestly the shadow is so highly pigmented that it only takes a little to get major color, therefore the palette lasts a very long time. I haven't regretted splurging on these palettes for a second because they are truly fabulous and worth every penny.

I purchased this eyeshadow quad originally for night time looks. However the clever use of both cool and warm shades is brilliant for both day and night use. This is the second time purchasing this quad, that is how much I adore it. You can high light, line and smoke up your eye as little or as much as you want. I tried this at a Dior makeup class and I really liked all the colors...except one. Why brown? All the colors are cool tones that work great with my fair skin, except the brown. So four stars for four great colors!

Quick Take: for nighttime
If you love to be dramatic in the eye make-up area, this is for you. The sparkles in the black shadow are wonderful. The light shadows help to highlight, even lowlight other areas to make the black pop.
