This double-ended brush #28 is designed specifically to apply Stila's creamy Smudge Pots. One side draws a thinner line along the lid and the other end is used to "smudge" for dramatic effect.
I have used almost every brush on the market and this is the BEST brush ever!! It is expensive and SO worth every penny. It is so easy to apply eyeliner- I prefer using gel eyeliners and this is just an amazing tool. The eyeliner glides on with ease and I use the blender side to fix smudges, to thin the line and of course to smudge!! I will never use any other brush!! I give this a 5++++++ !!

returned it:(
-10.14.11
The bristles are too splayed with different lengths and its not possible to control the shape or thickness of the line you draw. I tried wetting it and getting a big glob of liner to refine, but alas, had to return it.

Best Brush Ever!!!
-07.26.11
Quick Take: natural hair
I've purchased many brushes, and Stila never fails me! They are pricey, but they are worth every penny!! This brush holds up very well even when you don't have time to wash it after use, it will bounce back when you do. I love that this is also a double ended brush, it's defintely a versitile 2-for-1 brush. You can use the blunt side for smudging eyeliner, or spot application of eye shadow. You DO NOT have to know a thing about applying cream eyeliner with this brush, put it into your hands and become and artist immediately! You can have a thicker, dramatic eyeline, or simple, and conservative look as well. The brushes are also made in an animal friendly manner as well! Love this brush!!

Thick side is great!
-04.22.11
I really like the thick end, but the thin end was way fluffier than expected. I think it should have been way thinner to get a really precise line. The thick side of the brush popped off after about a month.

This is a great brush! It maintains it shape even after washing it and it applies and smudges liner like a dream! I especially like to use this brush with my gel liners.

Thicker than expected
-02.16.11
Quick Take: thicker than expected
I purchased this brush after reading reviews and the one I received had a thicker tip than the picture shows. I'm not sure if it fluffed out with use or if mine is just thicker. I still really like the brush and think it does a great job with the smudge pot. I now use the smudge pot every day as an eyeliner--this brush allows me to get more use out of my smudge pot. Overall a great brush but I think it was a bit pricey and not exactly what I was expecting from the picture.

Brush
-12.08.10
Wasn't too sure about it when I took it out of the package. I thought this is it?? Works great though. I was using a hard stiff applicator before. This works great! The benefit is that I can apply it straight or use the broader end and get a smokey affect. You'll like it.

Versatile brush
-11.14.10
I've never used this brush with a Stila smudge pot despite its name. Instead, I've used it with mac fluidlines, smashbox cream liners, make up forever aqua creams, and regular eye pencils. It's a great size and shape.

Quick Take: awesome brush
This is an amazing brush for gel pot liner etc..It lasts for longer then a year if you take care of it. Very handy also for putting dry shadow on lash line too before using it in gel pot.

Nice brush!
-09.13.10
Quick Take: soft bristles, easy to use, pricey, worth the money, fabulous
I use this brush with the Stila Smudge Pots. It's a good brush.
The only thing is, I noticed that I only really use the broad, flat end instead of using the pointy end. I use it as a really thick eyeliner, as opposed to smudging. It makes nice, even lines and the bristles are fabulous.
In hindsight, I could have probably gone with a cheaper, single-ended brush but I do like this one and I don't feel like exchanging it for something else and possibly getting a brush that I'm not too fond of.
I'll keep it! I like it a lot, even though I don't make use of it's full capabilities.

For lack of a better word "Perfect"
-08.08.10
Quick Take: not comparable
This is the best smudge brush out there. It gives you the choice of thick and thin. The feel is phenomenal and the ergonomic features of double sided brushes is great. I am absolutely in love with this brush. It was well worth the money.

Great brush
-05.29.10
one of the best brushes I own. Creates a very sharp clean line on one end, and then the other smudges it all up for a sexy smoky look. The only downside is because it's double ended, one side is always touching the bottom of my brush tin.

Great Brush
-03.23.10
I have been using a somewhat older Bobby Brown brush for the smudge pots and haven't loved the effect. I had thought it was the smudge pot, but decided to give another brush a go. BINGO! Awesome brush, easily cleaned. I love the dual sides and it's a good size for my makeup bag.

A Must

If you have sensitive eyes like I do and enjoy Stila's smudge pots, this brush is a must for using along with the pots. The description is true to the product.
