Hydrating and lovely colors
-05.21.13
Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing
I purchased the color Brown Sugar and it is a really beautiful easy to wear shade. It glides on the lips sheerly and you can add layers to build the color if you want. It is definitely moisturizing and the finish is glossy without being too shiny. One of my favorite things is the small size of the tube - so easy to carry. It's not terribly long wearing but that is to be expected with a formula like this. It is high on my list of go-to lip products.

Lipstick. It's just lipstick.
-05.16.13
Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing
Calling this "stick gloss" is nothing but marketing. It's just plain old lipstick that doesn't last as long. It's slightly less pigmented and a little creamier than regular lipstick, but that's it. It's nice feeling, decently moisturizing lipstick, but if you want lip gloss, you'll need to buy actual lip gloss and not this.

Definitely A Re Purchase!
-05.06.13
I had this for quite awhile, put it in the draw and forgot about it. Recently I pulled it out and started to use it. Now I remember why I bought it. It's the most beautiful neutral lip shade for me. It's not dry and matte looking. I don't like to wear anything to shiny on my lips. This looks so good and natural. Love it! Highly recommend this product. Definitely a re-purchase for me!

Beautiful Evening Color
-04.26.13
Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing
I have fairly pigmented lips and fair skin, so I tend to shy away from lipstick which tends to look too dark on me. But, this product is so glossy and goes on sheer (buildable coverage). It's awesome! The Courtisean color is gorgeous (warm golden rose) and perfect for evening and I also have Brown Sugar which is a good neutral for daytime (though I usually put a pinkish gloss over it because it's a little too neutral for my coloring). Love this stuff.

I love Laura Mercier!

Laura Mercier stick gloss in courtesan is part of my daily routine. It has no equal. The color is perfect for gals with brown hair and fair skin. It goes on smoothly, wears well and looks lovely!

Awesome!
-04.02.13
Quick Take: awesome!, moisturizing...
Again, Laura Mercier delivers. First time trying her lipsticks, I love other products from this line. This lipstick is moisturizing, long wearing, true to color, and my lips look delectable!
Just the right amount of color and sheen for either day or night..

Does not last
-04.01.13
Quick Take: not long lasting
I love Laura Mercier cosmetics. But this gloss is such a disappointment. It feels great on and softens the lips but doesn't smell good or last long at all. I need moisture for my lips and I like color. I was reapplying within minutes of putting it on and it only lasted me for a month. Sorry to say I will not buy this again.

Nice lipstick. Peony was too bright for me. I have very fair skin, but the product is very nice when you find the right color.

LOVE PEONY
-03.10.13
I am a fair Asian. Peony is a gorgeous plum with a hint of sparkle. Not quite as full coverage as a lipstick, it's slightly more sheer, but my, does it last. I wear it alone for a more casual look, or line it with *NARS Marnie* for more polish. With the *Marnie* liner, it lasts a very long time, even after a meal. PEONY makes my lips look full, luscious, and sexy but with a "wear everyday" look.

Brown Sugar - So Disappointed!
-03.01.13
Quick Take: stinky
I LOVE this color! It is exactly what I've been looking for.
But it smells awful, tastes awful, and just does not last.
I am so sad that I'm going to have to return this.
And it feels so great going on. Such a bummer.

I love this lipstick. The color is perfect and it is very smooth and creamy. I wish it were still in the stores, but am happy I can order it online.

My go to lip color
-02.10.13
The Peony stick gloss is my favorite every day lip color. I wear it, it doesn't wear me. Great color, moisturizing, and it doesn't run. I wear the lipstick alone. Sometimes define it a little more with the Chestnut pencil. Please do not stop making this shade. I just adore it.

Amazing lipstick
-02.06.13
Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing
Since I started using Stick Gloss in Brown Sugar I don't use anything else. I have a drawer full of lipsticks, glosses, tints, stains and pencils (chubby sticks and liners), but this is such a natural, lovely pinky brown that I never go with the others anymore. Try it; you'll like it, I think!

Excellent Color / Long Wear Lip Color
-02.02.13
Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing, long wear
In the tube the brown sugar lip gloss looks dark but it compliments my fair skin tone perfectly. The lip gloss is moisturizing and lasts most of the day before needing to be reapplied. I like how it is not sticky like other glosses and gets stuck in your hair. Great product :)

Laura Mercier Stick Gloss
-01.26.13
I like it, and it's moist, but it seems to lose moisture quickly and I have to reapply several times. It's also a smaller stick than some lipsticks, so it runs out sooner than other brands.

LOVE this lipstick!
-01.16.13
I have been using Laura Mercier's Stick Gloss for 2 years, and I absolutely LOVE it. I have tried 2 different shades, and find Courtesan is perfect for me. Just the right amount of shine plus color. I highly recommend this!

Stick Gloss
-01.13.13
Product delivers exactly what it promises. I was looking for a plummy lipstick/gloss and really like this formula. Maybe not as much product as other lipsticks but how often do you actually use an entire lipstick?

It is a great lipstick!
-01.09.13
I am not sure about the term "gloss" because it is not glossy. It is a nice lipstick that has some shine to it to make it soft and shiny. It is moisturizing and has a decent amount of pigment. It is a GREAT lipstick!

Peony flattering shade; FABULOUS lip balm w color
-01.07.13
Quick Take: laura mercier stick gloss in peony, delivers healthy flushed colorful sheen, not waxy; long lasting for a color balm
I can't tell you how many lip glosses, balms and sheer lipsticks I've tried in my quest for a product that moisturizes and adds sheer but noticible color. Even with my fave lip colors, of any consistancy, I apply balm then color and it's a day long balm>color>balm>color merry-go-round which leaves product collecting in the corners of my mouth...Exhausting and discouraging albeit in a beauty regimen kind of way. HOWEVER - Laura Mercier's Stick Gloss is somehow utterly different and astoundingly superior. I bought Peony which is a sheer cranberry/mauve with a healthy looking sheen, not shimmer. The color is definitely there, as opposed to some "tinted" balms, but it is still in a flushed vitality catagory of color that allows me to easily wear it with no makeup - not even blush to balance it out - without looking like "pale face and yikes! Lipstick!" Additionally, this is the first time I've been able to hop off the balm>color>balm carnival ride which is such a refreshing change. This Stick Gloss, without question, is my favorite lip product due to its natural but noticible, grown woman color (Clinique's Chubby Stick Intense is my second favorite new discovery but delivers a brighter POP! of color and is, thus, less versatile) and its sheer, entirely non-waxey texture. Also, it's surprisingly long lasting for such a moisture rich product! So far I prefer the Stick Gloss in Peony to the Sheer Colour in Baby Lips based on the the way the products look and feel. I highly, highly recommend Stick Gloss and am happily, optimistically, confidentally trying out Laura Mercier's other lip products and makeup items.
