Smells really good but...- 11.20.09
it does absolutely nothing for relaxed African-American hair type unless you have hair odor... I was hoping this would moisturize my hair and scalp without leaving any residual grease but it's not moisturizing at all and my hair feels really dry an hour after applying it.

Quick Take: quick results, super moisturizing, nicely fragrant
Carol's Daughter Tui Hair Oil is sweetly fragrant, but don't let the delicious aroma fool you --this oil is seriously moisturizing. Although I balked, at first, at the price (I generally just use food-grade oils, such as olive oil on my hair), I was pleased with my hair's softness and sheen after the first use. My hair is quite dry, so if your hair is ever oily, this oil will probably be too heavy to use daily. However, as a pre-wash, hot-oil treatment, its amazing.

Quick Take: easy to use, quick results
I've been using this product for almost a year on my color treated and relaxed hair. I use it as a daily moisturizer, with heat styles and as a hot oil treatment. My hair stylist even complimented me on how moisturized my hair is. Wish it came in a pump or spray.

I love Carol's Daughter products abd so do my son. He uses the hair products. I use the hair and body products, I have introduced my husband to the body scrubs and he loves it. This stuff can get very expensive so my wish is for in store or manufacturer coupons. Think recession, need coupons or discount. GREAT PRODUCTS.

I have thick coarse hair. I use argan oil all the time, just don't always like the smell. I saw this product at sephora and decided to try it. It is way way to oily for hair, at least my hair. My hair is dry and using other hair oils, I have never had my hair look oily. But this product made it look bad. Great smell and I'll just use it as a body oil instead.

I LOVE the TUI hair oil!! Its great for all hair types (I have naturally wavy texture) as a moisturizer/shine enhancer. I use just a few drops (a lil goes a long way) after I straighten my hair to give my hair a nice sheen & yummy scent, as well as when I wear my hair natural. I like to mix a few drops along w/ a leave in conditioner when im going "natural"!! It smells great, works great, and lasts a long time. I usually buy the tiny bottle and that lasts months!!

This oil can be heavy---weighing the hair down (I have natural, kinky, curly hair, so I was suprised when a few drops would leave my hair oily)! I'd suggest using it as a hot oil treatment/deep conditioner, not for everyday use. On the brighter side, the scent is wonderful, and the oil will last for a while.

I suffer with an extremely dry scalp and this is one of the only things that helps. It doesnt give me buildup or a residue. The aroma smells wonderful. Definitely highly recommended.
