First of all, my hair is natural and unpermed (type 4b). It makes my hair really soft, I just wish it cost less. Since it's a little expensive for me can't use it as often as I like. I don't even use it daily. But I love the way it feels when I do use it.

Always looking for the best product for my very curly hair to keep down frizz and help those springy ringlets form and this is not it. It might work better on coarser hair, but for my hair it was like Jerrycurl. Droopy and greasy. The smell was fine.

not for very fine hair- 11.18.09
I bought this product based on a recommendation from a friend. the main thing I did not like about it was the aroma. Otherwise, it seemed a bit heavy for my fine hair, but if it smelled better I would have kept it cause it looked like it could be used as a great treatment for frizz and would deliver healthy moisture to my hair.

I'm definitely a fan of the hair milk. It makes my hair feel super soft and the cream is not thick what so ever. I have dry and damaged hair and this stuff really helps hydrate my hair, it's one of the best I've used. It also adds shine to dull hair without making your hair look oily. I have a lot of hair and I find that just a little bit is enough to cover my hair. I'm not 100% fond of the smell but it does go away. This is something I'll continue to purchase till I find something better.

After much internet surfing of Carol's Daughter products, I finally decided to go to Sephora for the Hair Milk and Tui Smoothie. My 4yr old daughter has natrually kinky 6in long hair. I mostly let her wear it in two twists but it always looks so dry the next day. Well, I put a nickle sized amount on after shampoo/conditioner, and twists. When she woke up for school her hair was shiny and the curls look healthier. Unfortuantly Sephora was out of the Tui Smoother. Maybe next time

I am really pleased with this product. I am multi-racial and use it on my hair when it is blown dry or curled with an iron/or set at the salon with rollers. It moisturizes well with just a small amount. It gives my hair a healthy shine, prevents frizz and it's lightweight. I even use it on my daughter's extremely curly hair to tame fly away frizz - it contains her ponytails well. And it smells great!

Quick Take: easy to use
This is one of the best products I've found for reducing frizz on my thick, wavy hair. It doesn't really make my hair any wavier, but it provides nice definition. Don't use too much, or it can get greasy looking. Smells amazing too...I get compliments!

Quick Take: lightweight, clean citrus scent:)
I like the citrus scent & a little goes a long way. I have soft curls that frizz up quick! But this creamy lotion kept curls in place & i didn't need gel or mousse over it (i experimented on a windy day off). I blow dried on another occassion & hair was soft but just a dab cause otherwise it'll leave hair too oily!

The hair milk is light as described and I like how my hair feels when I use it (I'm transitioning into a natural). However, you should believe other reviewers, it smells like lemon pledge. I had to add other products to tone the smell down.

I use hair milk not only my hair but on my toddler's hair. It does not weigh hair down, not sticky or gooey - ALL NATURAL. Keeps the ringlets moisturized and is the only hair dress I use for my little girl! It's all we need!

Great for Thick Curls- 11.08.09
Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use, conditioning
If you want soft and bouncy curls, then this is for you. I have very coarse, thick curls, so a little doesn't go a long way for me. I could definitely see that if you have fine hair, it could get greasy looking from this product, but for coarse, thick hair, it's perfect. It must work as a conditioner as well as a styling product, because my hair is so soft now even when I don't use it. To use it, I just followed some other reviewers' (and the bottle's) advice and, as I apply it, I twist and twirl my curls in their natural direction, and I might continue to do this at intervals as my hair air-dries. I love it and am about to try out some other Carol's Daughter products.
