I love this product. My daughter's hair is simi-coarse and it really works well with her hair type.
This product is the best!! When i read about the product line, I was thinking maybe it was developed for women of color, and wondered whether it would work on my baby fine, naturally straight (but permed), blond hair. I am glad to say it works great, and completely controls the frizz while imparting a softness and shine. And the smell is the best part!! It has a wonderful citrusy fragrance. One word of caution is to not use too much, or the hair will be too greasy. I basically rub a thin film over my hands and then scrunch my towel-dried hair with it before blow drying and styling. Perfect every time!

This product is amazing and to die for. I have extremely curly and frizzy hair and every time I put this product into my wet hair and let it dry my curls were defined and beautiful! This product has an amazing smell and leaves your hair soft and smooth. I've even applied it on at the beach after a dip in the water. This product is just overall amazing.

I like this product! It smells good! You only need VERY VERY little! I mean this! It leaves your hair shiny! Dont put too much near your roots because it will look a little greasy! AGAIN little goes a long way!!

Smelled great, but the beeswax made my hair clumpy and sticky and was difficult to remove. Also, given the price, the base should be a higher quality than corn oil. Returned product to store. Will continue to use my own concoctions of pure olive, castor, and coconut oils.

Pros: this product really does control frizz - even in rainy weather. Smoothes my hair and adds great control, which I have a hard time finding. Very soft. Cons: I found it tricky to use - I thought I used a tiny amount the first time, and ended up literally having to re-wash my hair it was so greasy-looking. Takes some getting used to. Fragrance is a little too fruity for me - I prefer a cleaner scent. Overall: does what it says, and the more I use it the more I like it. Would have given it one star after the first use!

This is one good product from Carol's Daughter. It's usually hit and miss with this product line, but this one they nailed on the head. It really softens my hair without causing a lot of buildup and leaves it shiny. It smells so good and lasts forever since only a tiny amount is needed. Definately worth the money.

This product is great! I came into the store with dry, brittle hair that was breaking off. After using this product on the first day, I received many compliments about how nice my hair looks. I like it so much I went ahead and bought shampoo, hair smoothie and loc butter, which is another product I like. I was able to get a sample from the store and when I curl my hair, it stays the whole day and doesn't frizz, as I have very thick, frizzy hair.

As an African-American, it is sometimes difficult to find quality products for my hair type. Often I will find a product that I love in a national chain (like Target) only to find that it has been discountinued later. I first read about Carol's Daughter in Essence magazine and I couldn't wait to try it. I have not been disappointed with the Mimosa Hair Honey. This pomade is light and fragrant, and it makes my hair soft and manageable without weighing it down or making it feel greasy.
