Soufflé smells like play-dough!

I was really excited to try something from this collection, its been on "my list" for months. I ordered the body soufflé for my mom because she adores almond cookies, and i figured it was a good way to test the product before i got more of "Carols Daughters" things.
We just got it in the mail today and we slabbed some on as soon as we opened it only to find it doesn't smell anything like Almond cookies. IT REAKS OF PLAY-DOUGH.
Im sending it back now, but I'm really disappointed because it got such good reviews. Im hoping its just the soufflé though and plan to order the dry oil mist to see it its any better.
To be fair though, it was really moisturizing.

Almond cookie Shea souffle is by far one of the best moisturizer I've used. Wonderful texture and keeps ash away. Lol I will repurchase this item just because it has really worked on my dry skin. I do wish there was a jumbo jar for of this product. :)

This smells like almond cookie in the jar, and the formula is moisturizing without being greasy. However, once it's rubbed in, it just smells lightly soapy.

My problem with this product is the scent. When it dries down on my skin it smells more like baby powder and grandma than a cookie. My Husband actually asked me to give it away the first time I used it. He walked into the house and said why does the house smell like my grandma? If the smell doesn't bother you I would 100% recommend this. This is by far one of the best and most gentle body creams I have used. I have bad allergies and it didn't bother my skin at all.

Nice fragrance, but, the bottle shatters if you drop it.
I have a teenager at home and it was broken before i could use it once. Being thick I saved most, and had a spare bottle,
but..... Shatterproof is a reasonable expectation for shower products. Now, the scent reminded me of something.... turned out to be my dog's flea shampoo..... this is a one time purchase for me. :)

Quick Take: absorbs quickly, scented, rich
I am a huge fan of the Almond Cookie fragrance. Anything with this stamp on it is going to be fantastic! It is such a unique fragrance, that is what makes it special. It smells just like the name--almond cookie! If you're baking and use almond extract, take a whiff--that is the essence. It is delicious and smells so sensual and sweet. I absolutely adore this fragrance! The perfume as well as the oil is fabulous as well and the scent is long lasting.

Despite the delicious fragrance of the shampoo, condition, and hair cream, this product has proven ineffective for my hair. I'm Puerto Rican, so I have nice curls. Throughout the years, I have damaged my hair with constant dying, ironing, and styling. I thought purchasing this product would treat my hair. It did, however, restore my beautiful curls. But my hair is still too dry and puffy, with no natural shine restored, obviously. Also, this product is supposed to help my hair grow 13x faster, but my hair has not grown more than the average half an inch. I'm returning the product.

I purchased this product in this fragrance, as well as Ecstacy. My skin is so dry in the winter that oils do more to moisturize long-term than most lotions. These products smell DELICIOUS, and my boyfriend always comments that I smell yummy when I use these. Surprisingly, this dry oil is not greasy, and absorbes quickly into your skin, leaving a delectable shine and a fragrance that disappears fairly quickly. Not overwhelming, and defnitely worth it.

I absolutely love the way this smells in the shower. Others report that later the smell turns into a baby powder smell. This is true and dissapointing, but the smell isn't overwhelming. The downside of this product is that it doesn't foam much and it isn't moisturing. I won't purchase again.

- Absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn't feel greasy. I have eczema and this oil provides a good amount of moisture after a shower.
- The special spout allows you to dispense a controlled amount of oil to avoid waste.
- I have to add that the bottle is cute! And I'm not usually a sucker for packaging.
- Great value! Much better price than many of the other body oils on the market.

I purchased the body oil last year. It is delicious. I put it on after my shower every night and the smell is divine. My boyfriend loves this. He says it reminds him of the Italian pinole cookies. I've used this product for years now and it continues to be the perfect moisturizer for my dry skin and I am complimented all the time on the fragrance. I highly recommended if you have dry skin,over time it improves skin moisture, tone and texture, and makes your skin incredibly smooth and soft. Love it!!
