Unlike some lip glosses that I have tried before this actually sticks even after I've eaten. It keeps my shiny for a long time. It helps that it smells wonderful and tastes delicious!

GREAT FUN LIP SHINE - GLOSSY, HYDRATING

I've always been happy with Philosophy glosses with the exception of Mimosa (which was just okay). I really love the way they hydrate my lips, and have a residual moisturizing effect that lasts even when the gloss is gone. In general, they smell and taste great, too. Philosophy has been copied, but nobody else can do it as good as Philosophy does.
After being disappointed with Mimosa, I wasn't expecting to like the Melon Daiquiri Lip Shine since I'm not a drinker (by reason of not liking the taste of anything alcoholic). This Melon Daiquiri Lip Shine is way better than Mimosa and on the level of all the other Philosophy Lip Shines that I've used. It's very hydrating, smells good, and leaves my lips well hydrated. It passes the kissing test my husband and I have. While it's shiny and glossy, it's not heavy enough so that my long hair gets stuck in it. I'm really pleased with this Lip Shine and feel comfortable recommending it.

Philosophy glosses are my favorite. The consistency is a bit thicker than other glosses, but it is not sticky or tacky at all. In fact, I think that quality allows it to last longer than other glosses. The coverage is sheer with a slight, sophisticated shimmer to it. When the light catches the shimmer, the gloss looks shiny but not overpowering. The shade gives lips a flattering sheer peach shade. The awesome fruity flavor makes me think of honeydew.

Kind of sticky, but lasts a long time. It also comes out very gooey and you have to be careful about it not looking like a gross layer on your lips. Once you get the right amount, it is a pretty good gloss.

The flavor reminds me of jolly ranchers. I have had other philosophy lipglosses, and they were really sticky, but this one isn't. It goes on really smooth and leaves your lips nice and sparkly. Not really much color to it, however.

A nice lip gloss, enjoyable flavor that is not too thick as some glosses are. The shine is pretty with sheer coverage. While Philosophy makes a nice lip gloss the biggest downside is that it lasts only for a very, very short time and then has to be reapplied. If they could make the same product, just change the formula a bit to make it last longer, it would get a terrific rating. Either that, or bring the cost down a bit since we have to use so much of it.
