Absorbs easily, no irritation
-06.14.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly
I initially was reluctant to purchase this since it did not really claim to do much. It seems to just be a sunscreen. But since I don't have any crows feet or wrinkles yet, and my dermatologist says sunscreen is really the best way to prevent wrinkles, what else do I need? I wear a more moisturizing eye cream at night. This is one of the highest SPFs for eye creams on the market, and the price is relatively low. The sunscreen absorbs easily, does not leave any perceptible residue, provides moderate moisturizing, and I haven't experienced any irritation. I have somewhat sensitive eyes and I wear contacts, yet I've had no trouble with this product. I'm sticking with this product until I actually have wrinkles and need something stronger. But hopefully with this great sunscreen, the wrinkles are a long way off!

Not just a sunscreen
-06.09.13
Quick Take: hydrating, absorbs quickly
I keep coming back to this eye cream by Clarins. It's about the only one that not only has high sun protection that doesn't sting my eyes, but I can apply concealer/make up over it and it doesn't pill.

Now using sunscreen daily. Eye area is always the area I skipped as sunscreen burns my eyes. THis is the only one that does not. I do need to put a light TM and concealer over it though as it does give you a white cast and I do need to wait about 30 minutes before finishing my face if going out (to let it soak in). Small tube but suppose it will last a long time as you do not need much. Pricey stuff.

I think it is a good SPF for the eye area and does not smell or irritate. Almost a primer because it is white but camouflage dark circles. Not very moisturizing, but have no ill effects from that plus no racooning. I think I would buy again.

Yes. This is my protector. This is going to help folks tell me in 20 years...that I look 20 years younger than I really am. I use this every day, whether I'm wearing wedge sandals, or galoshes. Non-irritating, non-smelling, all around miracle day eye cream. Yes, I'm in love.

Sunscreen for your Eyes
-04.16.13
Quick Take: hydrating, absorbs quickly, lightweight
I like to make sure all the facial products I use during the day have sunscreen, but finding a good eye cream with sunscreen can be a problem. I have been using Clarins Sunscreen for Eyes Wrinkle Control Cream for about two weeks now and have been very happy with it. It's lightweight, and doesn't irritate my skin, like many eye products do. I feel confident that the delicate eye area is getting the protection it needs.

Love this!
-04.14.13
Quick Take: great for sensitive skin
Ever since Kiehls discontinued their SPF eye stick, I've been on a hunt. I have very sensitive skin and wear contacts. This cream is non irritating, it's not oily, so doesn't affect my eye makeup. It is definitely meant to protect, not moisturize, I make sure I use a great eye cream at night.

I've been needing an eye cream with a high SPF that doesn't burn my eyes. This one is perfect. Gives a slight glow. Feels very moisturizing. Little difficult to rub in but worth it knowing I have SPF 30 around my eyes. Love Clarins products.

Excellent product
-03.25.13
I just came home from a two week trip to Dubai and Thailand and used this every day. It protected my eye area completely and never got into my eyes and irritated them which has happened a lot with other brands.

I like this cream to put over a light cream that doesn't have an SPF factor. This is also very light and absorbs well.

Absolutely love this product. Provides great sun protection around the sensitive eye area without irritating. Slightly luminescent so it brightens up the eye area nicely. Please never discontinue this product!

I love this! I love the whitish film it leaves on my eye (kind of like an eye brightener, although it goes away after a few minutes anyway). It applies smooth, doesn't sting my eyes, and I like that it's SPF 30 to protect my eyes from future wrinkles (I'm in my early 20's, about the right time to start these regimen's don't ya think?). Overall I love it, I would have given it 5 stars but it IS a bit pricey in my book. Thankfully I was able to stack coupon and gift card so it came out to about $10 cheaper. Woohoo!

I did not read the product details very carefully before purchasing this item. It says sunscreen and wrinkle control and eyes and I thought that it would be both a sunscreen and wrinkle fighter. After reading the active ingredients (which are only different sunscreens), I realized that the wrinkle control meant the prevention of wrinkles through the block of sun rays on your eye area.
So, the name is a little deceptive, but it was my fault for not reading the description more clearly. I have been using it every day hoping that it is blocking the sun rays around my eye area. It is hard to tell whether it is effective or not. I know that the only way to test its effectiveness would be to have a "control eye" that had no product versus a "test eye" that did have product. After the years of sun exposure would the "test eye" look better? I don't know. It sounds good.
I will not be purchasing this again. I will continue using this until it is gone because I feel guilty for wasting my money, my moisturizer with SPF will do the same thing.

Not for contact lens wearers
-01.17.13
As a contact lens wearer, I'm not usually concerned about products causing problems, but this one was just awful. About 30 minutes after first applying this product under my eyes (not on lids at all) as I do any undereye cream, my eyes were watering and my contacts were becoming almost foggy. I took them out several times to wash, but the same thing happened repeatedly. I stopped using the product for a week and had no eye/contact lens issues. Tried using the Clarins eye cream again once more and had the same, awful result. So, contact lens wearers, beware of this product!

NOT creamy, very thin
-01.16.13
Quick Take: thin
I bought this based on reviews. While it is a neat concept that this is a sunscreen for around your eyes and that does seem necessary since we put it everywhere else to prevent wrinkles, it was JUST a sunscreen. It is not as moisturizing as a typical eye cream. It is fine if you do not mind having to apply this and then a separate eye cream, but I prefer a dual product....still on the search for one.

Good protection
-01.14.13
Quick Take: lightweight, protecting, non-greasy
I bought this as an alternative of the Lancome eye cream with SPF and I like how it gives the eye area sun protection throughout the day which is what I was going for. I usually apply this in the morning. However, as the same with the Lancome one, this is not extremely hydrating to the skin and I like to apply a regular moisturizing eye cream underneath so that my eye areas are prepared for makeup and all. It is not greasy or anything, though, so that's a plus. The tube looks big on the Web but in reality it's just a small tube but I guess that's what eye creams are supposed to be like, and it's travel-friendly. In general, I recommend this product as some extra care for skin around the eyes.
