Sooo Moisturizing- 09.07.09
Quick Take: long lasting, fast-drying
I debated over buying this product for a while and finally went for it. It was completely worth it. It is incredibly moisturizing and leaves my skin with a nice sheen. It is also fast drying, which I was worried about since it is an oil. It did not get on any clothes or furniture while I was wearing it. This is not something I wear every day (because I am usually rushing out the door), but it is great if I am going out with friends or on a date or have plenty of time to get ready. My husband even commented on how smooth my legs were. This oil is such a nice indulgence and definitely worth the price. A little bit goes a long way, so I know this bottle will last me a long time.

Delicious, gentle, warm, sexy!- 08.26.09
I was so pleased to find this product last summer. 20 years ago a product named Monoi de Tahiiti was sold in an opaque plastic bottle with a large gold ball top. It was manufactured by a French company, was more potent than the Nars, and was pure bliss. Over the years I have searched every department and cosmetics store, bath, body, and apothecary shop I encountered. I did exhaustive internet searches, all to no avail. This is the closest product I've found. It is a gentle, warm, sexy island scent. Try it in your hair at the beach-delicious!

Summer Must- 06.17.09
I use on my legs and arms to give a little shine - looks so good with tanned legs and smells like a tropical vacation. I also apply a few drops to my hair before shampooing as an oil treatment. It keeps my hair from drying out in the summer. You can also put a few drops in your bath for a relaxing and super moisturizing bath. I wish it was a little cheaper, but a worthwhile treat.

I got this as a sample and now I'm hooked! It smells so light but so beautiful - it's indescrible. Such a relief from heavy floral scents! It doesn't make my skin glow so much as it just makes it like velvet. Really. I live in S. California where it is dry, dry, dry. This is my new favorite for arms, shouders and legs. Sexy, light and alluring. Love!

I was interested in shimmer (glow) body lotion and NARS has become a new favorite company for me. The Monoi Body Glow has a scent and texture that reminds me of my favorite lotion made in French St Barts by Ligne St Barts. We weren't able to make the Caribean this year so I was grateful to find this wonderful NARS lotion which reminds of the Saline beach.

I LOVE this! The scent is light and sexy, it absorbs right into my skin, but when I'm working out or just getting warm, I can smell the light fragrance on my skin. It's really nice. Plus, it does give my shoulders the beautiful glow that I bought the product for in the first place.

This is the best smelling oil, kinda like coconut. Reminds me of the beach. It's great to use a little on your arms and neck as a perfume. But it's not as moisturing as lotion. I love it and it's worth the price.

I adore this body oil, it's worth the splurge. It smells awesome and makes my skin glow without a glittery mess. It feels so good it's easy to overdose, so keep in mind that a little goes a long way- you don't want a trail of perfume following you down ther street.

I can tell you without a doubt that I definitely prefer the original Body Glow formula over Body Glow II. Body Glow II smells nice, but the aroma doesn't last long enough to make it worth it. The original Body Glow adds a nice glow to the skin that this one doesn't. I have to say 'no' to Body Glow II.

It's a "NO" for Body Glow- 11.24.08
Quick Take: oily, slick, ineffective
I had high hopes for this product. I liked the idea of using an oil instead of a lotion for a moisturizer, but the item fell far from my expectations. I found it to be very slick and actually slow-drying... but then I tell myself, "duh, it's oil... that's what it's supposed to do!" It didn't give me a glow and I much prefer an actual lotion when it comes to moisturizing my skin... it just works better all around. I felt sticky and unclean after using this product, even if I used directly after a shower and before bedtime.
The product is hard to get out of the bottle, and though it is very pretty to look at, I always get product residue on the bottle, my counter, etc. While the scent is not my personal preference, I can tell how many will find the scent pleasant.
I recommend buying the smaller version first before forking out the cost for the full-size bottle to see if you like it.
