NARS Monoi Body Glow II
What it is: A multipurpose beauty oil for daily moisturizing or massaging. What it does: Continuing in the tradition and spirit of French Polynesia, Nars launches Monoi Body Glow II to complement the original and all around bestselling favorite, Nars Body Glow. Capturing Monoi de Tahiti oil in its purest state, Monoi Body Glow II creates glowing, healthy looking, and naturally fragrant skin. Native to the South Pacific and France, Monoi de Tahiti oil is the result of macerating the native tiare flower (Tahitian gardenia) in refined coconut extract for at least ten days, slowly infusing the oil with nutrients as well as a delicate, natural fragrance. Each bottle of Nars Monoi Body Glow II retains an original tiare flower to capture the essence of this unique process. What else you need to know: It is natural for authentic Monoi de Tahiti oil to solidify when cool, which might appear as separation. Place in the sun or under warm water to liquefy, then shake gently to blend the ingredients.

Quick Take: intoxicating, delicately moisturizing
I brought this to Maui and really fell in love with it there. The white floral scent isn't overpowering but is really relaxing and reminds me of the flowers there. Intoxicating, feminine, with enough scent to be used on its own. If you want to layer a scent, I'd recommend using another white floral.
Leaves a beautiful sheen on the skin that isn't greasy. I've even used this as a bath oil. Just a gorgeous scent!

I have been using this product for years and love it ! It absorbs well on it's own or mixed into your favorite body lotion. I love the smell, it is pure pleasure! I would recommend this to anyone.

I absolutely love the smell of this oil. It's amazing and it moisturizes my skin perfectly. This reminds me of the California beaches back home. I would highly recommend it.

It seems I got misinformed when I inquired about the ingredients to this product... I was told it had refined coconut oil and gardenia flower alone. However the true list of ingredients is such:
Cononut oil, Dicaprylyl ether, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Fragrance, Benzyl Cinnamate, Gardenia Flower, Tocopherol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Bensyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Propylparaben.
I still really appreciate this oil, however there are a few ingredients in there I can live without...

First off - two ingredients, gotta love that!!
Unrefined coconut oil, as fantastic as it is, really leaves you oily, and in reality can stain your clothes, sheets, etc over time. Nars has somehow managed to make this oil sink right in.
Each and every time I slip into this I am transported to so many of the exotic places I've visited and hold close to my heart... this oil makes me happy. :) Granted the price tag is hefty, but in all honesty a thin layer is all you need. However, don't expect the scent to last you 8hrs on end. This is subtle... up close and personal is how it is truly appreciated if you know what I mean... sexy time stuff... ;) Be it for yourself, or that special creature you share yourself with.

I've always loved NARS products, and this one is exquisite! Leaves your skin soft and glowing with a wonderful smell that makes you feel as if you are in the tropics! A great alternative to a basic body lotion. I am giving it only 4 stars based on the glass bottle that makes it hard to travel with.

I bought this yesterday and LOVE it. It is not greasy at all and smells yummy. It is a bit pricy but considering how little you have to use and now much you get I consider it a very good value. Would buy again for sure.

I tried it in the store on a small part of my arm and was surprised by how light the scent was. I had never tried an oil before but had read reviews and decided to finally go ahead and buy it. However, once I used it on more than 2 square inches of my body I was completely overwhelmed by the scent. I also wasn't thrilled with how greasy it was. I had been told to use it after a shower and wait a bit before putting clothes on, so I did, but I still felt, well, oily. I won't be returning but will probably only use it on occasion before bed. I also completely agree that it should come with a pump. After only one use the bottle is completely oily!

Okay so I love Nars and I love the first Body Glow. The only problem it the place where the oil come out. It spills all over and wastes this SUPER expensive product. So I took a olive oil bottle that has a thin spout and poured it in the bottle with a funnel. It works beautifuly. I love the product and it smells so lovely but the only things are the bottle (solution found) and the price. It is so expensive and took me several months of babysitting to earn the money for this. All in all it is a great product with a bad bottle and very expensive but worth the money!! :)

Every good thing that people have said about NARS Monoi Glow II is true. It smells amazing, is very moisturizing, and makes your skin glow. It is a bit pricey but I use it just after the shower on damp skin so the bottle will last me quite a while. A treat for your skin!

I can not say enough great thing about this oil! I was hesitant buying it. I couldn't imagine an oil would be worth that price. I sure as heck was wrong. I pour it into its cap, and use a capfull to cover my entire body. I am instantly deeply moisturized and instantly relaxed. The scent is so suble and perfect, Beachy and heavenly! It melted into my skin so well and the scent mixed with my body chemistry flawlessy. This scent with my lotion, and my signature perfume, has this unique, one of a kind, PERFECT havenly smell I simply couldn't get enough of. The bottle also is super sophisticated looking on my sink. You NEED to pick this up. NEED NEED NEED!

I bought this for me, but my husband loves it even more than I do. He has naturally curly, long hair, and he uses a few drops of this every day to tame it. It's luscious, soft, and healthy, and he swears it's thanks to this stuff. We love the smell, but admittedly it's not for everyone (it's a unique, sweet, tropical scent). But I only give it 4 stars cause it's ridiculously overpriced. You can find other brands of monoi online for a fraction of the price, but they don't come in a pretty glass bottle that says NARS.

I absolutely love this body glow. The smell is amazing, soft, yet will stay with you all day. I highly recommend putting it on immediately after a shower. The only downfall is that it doesn't come with something to apply it with. It kind of pours out.

I say refreshing because some fragrances or products with gardenia notes can come off smelling like sun tan lotion and seem to just never get it right. This however literally smells like when i'm walking along the beach on a breezy day and pick a tiare flower fresh off the bush and put it behind my ear. That, mixed with the moisturizing property of the coconut extract makes for a perfect oil to use after a day at the beach.

I bought some makeup from a NARS counter and the lady kindly gave me a small sample bottle of this body glow to try as I told her that I loved the Monoi Body Glow I. It is just as lovely as the original and I am really satisfied with it.
