I stuck with Bumble & Buble dry shampoo for years because it was one the few (only?) dry shampoos in black. My hair is pitch/inky/jet...black as it gets, and non-tinted powder would only turn my hair gray at best, is what I thought. Got this based on the reviews (the B&B smelled weird and the black would get in my fingernails) and wow...it's light, effective, absorbs the oil and disappears. Squirt very lightly onto the hair, not directly onto the scalp to avoid white gobby spots. Use slightly and sparingly. Doesn't give as much volume as the B&B, but so much better in every other respect.

Gets oil out, smells good, but the white residue!- 11.20.09
Quick Take: oil-absorbing, lemony-fresh, leaves white residue
If they would just make this in colors, it would be perfect. I have used several dry shampoos (still need to try Klorane and Rene F.), and this smells the best and gets hair the cleanest, BUT... it is impossible to brush out the white residue in my medium red-brown hair. If only it didn't do that, I could stop looking for the perfect dry shampoo. Oh well, at least I only bought the travel size - and it's really nice when those are available!

dirty hair quick fix- 11.19.09
I love this dry "shampoo"! It is a powder similar to other dry shampoos but does not go on too heavy, gives hair a lift, and helps camouflage new root growth, especially for blondes.

I had been using Orlon spray dry shampoo but got tired of not being able to use it all because the can clogged. I decided to try the Oscar Blandi but found the lemon scent too close to the smell of Pledge Wax

So terrible. I have fine, curly hair.. brunette. I tried using this stuff, and it just looks like I have a bunch of powder in my hair. even after I brushed. I had to wash my hair, just to get all of it out.

Quick Take: great alternative to shampoo
Total time-saver on those days you don't wash hair. The lemon verbena scent is a refreshing bonus rather than a baby powder scent. Wish it were a bit less white, but overall blends well at the roots. Like it better than the spray version.

I really like this product-but I consider it more of a luxury as it just doesn't go far enough, thus making it costly. Convient but a "want" not a need. This dry shampoo is a powder and much better than the sprays for total amount of use but it does take some time to blend into hair so it is not noticible.

I had really high hopes for this product. It smells the best out of all dry shampoo products I've tried. Unfortunately it didn't do a thing for me except make my roots look ashy and dirty. Maybe this works on regular skin types wth very light hair. I have dark hair and oily skin.

Quick Take: oil absorbing
I have super thick waist long straight hair and this dry shampoo works great!! Baby powder works the same way but the application tip on this is better. Also I felt a coolness where this was applied it helped me, since I couldn't see the product. It has a strong lemon scent ... to me also an indicator that it was going on.
I section my hair, apply just under the part my hair, flip it over and tussle it, that way I avoid the dull powdery look a little goes a long way

This was difficult to use, difficult to regulate how much you were putting in your hair and difficult to spread. Luckily, it comes in a trial size which is what I bought so if you want to try it I would recommend getting the small size first. There is also a spray version that I plan to try.

Yes, this product delivers on its promise: to soak up oils in the hair between washes. However, I am put off by the greyish dulling of my thick, dark hair that is a result of the white powder and the lemon smell (which is typically my favorite scent) that produces a strange, pungent odor once it blends with the oils. The product concept is terrific and saves a significant amount of time in the morning - but I will be researching a different dry shampoo.

Fabulous between wet shampoo!- 11.14.09
Quick Take: refreshing
My hair tech told me to stop washing my hair so much so I tried this product. I don't have to use much - just a small amount on top, on the sides and in the back, rub it through the scalp softly, brush and I'm good to go for another day without washing. Don't let the price scare you off - it lasts a long time.

Light, smells very fresh. You only need a little bit and your hair is instantly less oily and puffier. Bought large size for home and small size for travel. I can go three days without washing my hair.
