Very easy to control

This brush really helps me to place eye shadows exactly where I want them. Holds eyeshadow well...almost too well as I have to wipe it off on tissue in between colors in order to not get one big mixed shade. Good deal on clearance.

Scratchy, rough

Quick Take: scratchy
I own a lot of the standard sephora professional brushes with the black handles, and this platinum brush was actually really rough and scratchy compared them. I had to return it even though I bought it on sale. It just wasn't worth it.

You can't have enough eye shadow brushes; this is one of the reliable brushes in the Sephora line. The art of eye shadow is made so much easier with a good brush!

Quick Take: an absolute asset., "perfect size"
Yes, size DOES matter. My other shadow brushes were either big or for liner. This brush is so versatile: applying just a little to just a little area, reaching that hard-to-get spot, creating a thin(ner) line that's "shadowy" rather than like a liner, even fills in (pun intended) as a eyebrow brush if my actual one hides. Buy it!

Quick Take: adequate, easy to handle, lightweight
I like the size of this brush - it's good if I want to use three colors on my lid or apply a color to just the inner part of my eye lid. It's also light in the hand and the handle is not too long or too thick. IMO the Sephora eyeshadow brushes are adequate at best. They don't do a great job of holding on to powder shadow, and the bristles tend to be a little rough and scratchy for my taste. Especially since they are designed for the delicate eye area. I bought this on sale and I don't think you can have too many eye shadow brushes. I'm not that girl that wants to HAVE to wash her brushes after every use. If you're just building a brush collection (like me), I'd say get it - especially if you can get it on sale or promotion. I do not recommend paying full price for this. I will definitely be looking for better quality eye-shadow brushes from other brands though.

Quick Take: a good value, does what it should
I needed a proper eyeshadow brush because I lost the one I had. This one can be used for small applications (e.g. in the crease) as well as brushing powder over the lid. Have no complaints so far.

Quick Take: soft bristles, essential, great purchase
This brush picks up a lot of powder for easy application. Bristles are soft and great for versatile application. Definitely an essential for any girl's armory of beauty tools!

Fantastic for small lids!!!

I only added this brush to my 'basket' to reach $50 so I would qualify for free shipping, but I'm so glad I did! Its perfect for my eyes. From my cease to my eyebrow, I have plenty of space. But my actual lid space is pretty small and this brush works perfectly to apply shadow only on the lid without bleeding into the crease. The way its shaped allows you to use either side of the brush and the bristles are very soft. And you can also use the tip of the brush for blending. Excellent brush, especially since it's on sale :)

Okay so I have a really small lid and I have bought other brushes but they never seemed to work the way I expect them to. However, the first time I tried it the brush fit my lid perfectly and the application goes on flawless. I have not experienced any fall out at all. All in all i would highly recommend this brush to anyone.

Not impressed. A little itchy.

Quick Take: scratchy & umcomfortable
I own several brushes from this collection. Most of which i love. The size of the bristles are the same on this small brush as on the larger All Over The Lid #12 which i think was a bad choice. it is very scratchy. Being an artist (as in drawing) i knew a little trick that helped: i used a fine grade sand paper and i lightly buffed the bristles which help significantly. But for what you pay I think you shouldn't have to do that. it doesn't deliver color very well either. it comes out a bit patchy and flicks shadow everywhere!
