A decent brush

I bought this brush primarily because it was on sale. It isn't rough, and I have had no bristle loss. I only wish this brush was denser, I find it has a hard time sweeping fallout and bending, which is what I bought it to do.

Quick Take: synthetic hair
I originally bought this for my eyeshadow fallout (or any other fallout) - but I can also use this for application of light dusting of highlighter or a light dusting of powder or blush (although I recommend other brushes for serious application). This brush is a must have.

Quick Take: natural hair, soft bristles
I don't really know exactly what you're supposed to use this brush for, but I just it to apply blush to my cheek bones. Then I blend it with a blush brush. I like that it only applies a small amount because I don't like a lot of blush. If you keep the cover on the bristles (which are super soft) it will last a long time.

I tried this brush to get a sense of Sephora's brushes, but I was disappointed. I was hoping to use this brush to get rid of fallout after doing my eye make-up, but the angle and density of the bristles doesn't pick up any fallout. Perhaps is it better suited for lightly applying highlighter or something- but for the use I purchased it for, I am disappointed.

this is one of my favorite shapes to use for bronzing powder when all you want is a light brushing of color. especially good for running from ear towards mouth under cheekbones for contouring and not getting too much dark color... and it was on sale!

Does a Good Clean Up Job

I got this one on sale (plus another 20% off) and use it mainly for clean up the eye makeup fall out. It works nicely. It's able to get to the fine area like right under the lower lashes where some times you get just a tiny flick of powder. It's soft but firm enough to carry out it's duty. I like it!

Doesn't hold up to washing

This was great when I first got it. It was dense and fairly stiff and worked really well to brush off fallout. Then I washed it and it softened up and splayed out, losing its density and stiffness, so it no longer works for its intended purpose.

Quick Take: soft bristles
This is a great brush to use after you've applied your foundation and powder. It'll breakup any clumps or uneven coverage. It's soft enough where it feels nice on your skin as well as perform it's job. This is not a brush to apply any makeup, it's not meant for that. I'd recommend this brush to a friend.

Quick Take: natural hair
I got this brush a few weeks ago. I usually really like Sephora brushes. Originally, I thought it was pretty good, then I washed it using Sephora brush cleaner. When it dried, it became very frizzy and soft, losing the important properties it needs to have in order to "fan" away product. I read that using a flat iron on the brush after it dries is one way to get it to return to normal, but I didn't have any luck with that. Extremely disappointed that this brush only lasted two weeks.

So to all you ladies out there. You know when you've got the perfect eyeshadow, you're prepared for a night out or whatever and you're finally finished! And then it hits you that those sparkles or mascara are now under your eyes as well as on top? Fallout, is definetly swept away with this easy breezy, not gunna break your wallet brush. This brush is my second fave next to my foundation brush just a sweep under each eye and no smudges no twisting Qtips and reapplying my foundation. Just sweep sweep! And i'm out the door. If you've never taken a look at sephora brushes definetly take a look in store they have really good quality brushes and they're not as expensive as you think. Thanks Sephora for saving me a few minutes so i can run out the door!

This fan brush is soft, picks up highlighter well, and adds just enough product to your cheekbones. As another review also pointed out, make sure you don't throw away the brush cover it comes with - the bristles will not survive without it!
