Tweezerman Safety Slide Callus Shaver
Multi-purpose tool shaves calluses and smoothes skin with a built in rasp. The convenient, sliding cover moves from end to end to keep ends safe when one end is in use.Best used on moist skin. Draw shaver across the corn or callus in a shaving motion to remove thin layers of dead skin. After shaving corns or calluses, snap rasp onto head of shaver and work back and forth over callused area to smooth skin. *Caution: The blade is very sharp. Do not shave live skin. People with diabetes or hemophilia should not use this tool.

I had one longtime ago that I bought it from germany, and I miss placed somewhere, so I want to give it a try, but was disappointed, the curve is not inline with feet, and handle is not comfortable.

Quick Take: effective
I'm not sure what other reviewers are saying about this shaver being cheaply made. Maybe they are a few bad apples? I purchased mine yesterday and couldn't wait to try it. I don't have terrible callouses, but I am a medical student so if I'm not studying, I'm standing on my feet at the hospital. This product works great. Just a couple of words of advice: make sure you assemble it right (it's not hard, just look at the picture and you'll figure it out) and also, make sure your feet are wet. I know the description says to make sure they have been soaked for 20 minutes, but I used it after taking a hot shower and it worked great!
Be careful and go slowly the first time so you don't hurt yourself. Definitely a great product!

Quick Take: sharp
I've sliced my heels a couple of times so be aware that new blades are very sharp and can dull fast. Other than the words of caution, I do love this shaver. I get a lot of calluses from running and this helps keep my feet smooth and presentable.

Tweezerman Callous remover

I love this product. I am an ER nurse and work 12 hour shifts which produces callouses on the bottom of my feet. The first time I used this I was a little scared that I might shave off more than I should, but with the safety feature built into this device makes it easier to feel relaxed about using it. I wish it came with a narrower shaver as the awkward areas are a little tricky to maneuver. All in all though this is an excellent device.

The product isn't sturdy enough for the area it's targeting. The first use for me, the spring popped out and the blade flew off. I wasn't pleased at all with the purchase.

Quick Take: the best
This thing works so well and so quickly that it forced me to write a 1st time review. I've had a nasty callous on my foot for 5 years. Used this and 45 seconds later it is gone. UNBELIEVABLY effective. Does what it advertises and FAST. Ready for summer.

Best $13 ever spent on my feet!

I've been trying to reduce the hard skin on my feet with callus stones, literally spent hours of grinding. This shaver makes it so much easier. Just takes a few minutes, and my meet are super soft. I use it when I'm taking a bath or under the shower, just put the stopper in, to soak the feet before.
I apply some foot lotion afterwards and cotton socks, my feet are ready for summertime!
I noticed that less dead skin reduces the sweet (and smell) that my feet produce.
Absolutely love this shaver.
You need to buy extra blades, though.

Quick Take: like no other!
This is one of the greatest purchases I've ever made, and im a shop-a-holic! I don't get pedicures because i cant find the time, and have never been able to find anything that works to get rid of the dead skin like this does! It reveals the beautiful new pink skin underneath. Everything else I've tried always seemed to work but after drying, always left me with skin that looks like it has been literally been on a cheese grater. And never ever got through the real dead layers of skin. This actually removes the layers of skin. My skin is so soft and smooth, it's unbelievable. Highly recommended. Do not use on dry skin, only damp, after a shower skin. I didnt have any trouble putting it together, nor have i had trouble with rusting. But ive only used it three times. Thanks Tweezerman!!!!

Device worked well, until I tried to switch ends. The spring flew out and the button won't stay in now. I would not recomend this product. It is not worthy of the Tweezerman name!

I have gotten professional pedicures and tried all kinds of at-home remedies and have never had my feet so smooth. It got rid of all my calluses and rough patches. A must buy for anyone with rough spots they want immediately eliminated.

Living in Alaska, winter can be very rough on the feet. I puchased this product for my heels and the callouses on my big toes.
I am very pleased with the rasp. It does a great job without overdoing it. You have to pay close attention when using the blade, as you can take off too much, particularly if your skin is damp, as is suggested.
Overall, a good tool for smoothing the feet, though it will not take the place of a professional pedicure.

Quick Take: useful, good, trustworthy
When I first got this, the razor was not in place. That was okay, because I already read some of the reviews and they had mentioned that the razor would need to be put into place. Do take care when opening the box to this product so that the pieces don't fall out onto you or something that causes the parts damage.
I do agree that the instructions to assemble need to be included, since the diagrams on how to remove the blade to replace it are small. But, I also agree with the suggestion of going to the Tweezerman website and taking a look at their photo of the product, which can be zoomed into; you can see how the blade has been positioned that way.
When I washed the shaver, I took apart the shaver and the holder and wiped them all separately- please take caution in doing so, the blade is no joke! I did not get cut but I can see it is very sharp. I have not experienced any rusting this way.
It shaves off your calluses in small pieces like slivers, but I admit, I was expecting a little more than small when I first used it. Have patience and use the product in a well-lit room on your feet!
It's good because it does the job but it is a bit slow of a process to take care of the product overall, so I have to give it four stars instead of five for the inconvenience of my time.
