I ordered this cologne after reading all the positive reviews online. However, once I sprayed it one time after receiving it, I knew it was not the scent for me. It immediately reminds me of my grandma's cold cream she used years and years ago. So back to the store it went. Smelled a little like dirt too.

I have been wearing this for years and had no idea that it was a man's fragrance although it does have that smell now that I think of it. I prefer this type of fragrance over floraly women's fragrances. I love it.

This smells fantastic on me several hours later. I don't really like it right after I out it on, it's too sweet and not my style. But the dry down is excellent. Musky, sensual, woody, but fresh. A great combo. Best when applied right after your shower and it lingers quite a long time for me that way.

Quick Take: good value
I love woodsy earthy smells. I really don't enjoy smelling like I just rolled in a field of wildflowers or took a bath in fruit punch. I've spent years searching for the perfect winter fragrance, to no avail! Then one day while walking around sephora I stumble on this little gem. I loved how it smelled in the bottle so i sprayed some on my wrists. I instantly hated it.....but the story doesn't end there. I left the store kind of disappointed. I thought that I had struck gold. Alas, about 20 minutes later while eating french fries I got a whiff of something lovely and earthy but still sweet and warm. I couldnt figure out what it was but then it struck me .....It was ME! Once the smell mellowed out and mixed with my body chemistry it turned out to be perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I got home and my boyfriend kept sniffing me, telling me that I smelled like a mystic forest (whatever that smells like). I could not stop thinking about it so the next day I went back and bought a bottle. Now it is my signature scent! and I bought the candle too! I work at a winery and any really strong fragrance is frowned upon because it can throw off the bouquet of the wines, this scent is subtle enough that that does not happen, but if I brush past anyone, 8 times out of 10 they will comment on how I smell! So the moral of the story is that before you make a snap judgment about this little fella you should let it ruminate on your skin! You won't regret it!

I fell in love with with this scent in the store! Decided to order some, and since using it I stil feel the same way! It's described as a "masculine" blend, but I am getting compliments from everyone on it. I think it is more of an ambiguous aroma than strictly masculine. Not too much patchouli either.

Quick Take: travel-friendly
I was searching for a more natural perfume for myself. I LOVED the way this smelled on me when I just put it on, but after 20 mins it just smelled wrong on me. Thankfully I made this discovery in the store and decided to pass. I went with Lavanila Vanilla/Passionfruit (which I also recommend) and said good bye to this sent... that is until I realized that it might work for my husband. It smells amazing on him! When he first puts it on, in my opinion it's too sweet, but as it mellows after a few mins it is lovely and has a sweet musky earthy smell. In the end I got the best of both worlds because although it doesnt work on me, I get to smell it all the time.

This is a pretty nice scent, but mainly I am writing to bemoan the fact that Fresh discontinues my fave things! I loved LOVED the women's scent that went with this, called Cannibis Rose. It was a sweet and dirty dream! It made me feel like a wild hearted cowgirl every time I wore it...even the name sounded like some character out of a Tom Robbins' novel. I wore it the day I got married. I would give anything to smell it again...I lost my hsband last July and I would love to smell Cannibis Rose and have that sense memory...I've been searching E bay to no avail. Fresh, please bring it back, as a limited edition or something! Also, the Mamaku day serum was so delish..I adore the mascara and soy cream but I am still so sad that you discontinued those other two products.

Quick Take: good value
I'm another female wearer of this. I bought it a few years ago based on a tiny sniff from the bottle (definitely not how you should buy perfume). After wearing it a few times, I basically ignored it for a couple of years, finding myself drawn to lighter scents. However, I recently started getting back into a wider variety of perfumes and realized that this is one of the best on my shelf. I'm fond of some pretty classless perfumes, but this is one that I don't have to classify as a guilty pleasure (I'm looking at you, Gap Dream).
It's complex and unusual in a good way. It hits with an herb-y dank-earthy punch with a hint of citrus (in a good way), but quickly mellows. You can smell the patchouli at every level (especially right after the top notes disperse a bit), but it's not overpowering or sweet. The dry-down is richer than most vanilla-amber bases, and I can't quite place what else is lingering. It may be a bit of the rose.
In spite of all these rock-em-sock-em-type scents, it's not loud. It wears fairly close to the body for me, even though it really seems to last forever on my skin. I feel like I can wear it at the office more easily than some of my "lighter" perfumes without being a nuisance to others.
One healthy spray does it for me. I might refresh once at night. Because of this, the bottle lasts forever, even with daily use.

I bought this scent for my fiance and I secretly borrow it at times. It smells amazing. You will not regret this purchase. Trust me. The smell lasts hours not all day.

Quick Take: sweet
I bought this for myself (I'm a woman) and I'm shocked that it is marketed at men. The initial scent is quite sweet and it doesn't strike me as masculine at all. It doesn't have much staying power. I like it but honestly wish it was a tad woodsier. I had imagined it with more of a cedar note for some reason. Still lovely, I wear it and quite like it. Unless you're totally married to floral scents, I think it's feminine enough for about anyone.
