i have dry lips and unfortunately don't have a nice pigment. i have been using this product for over a year now and LOVE IT! i honestly don't go anywhere without it. it provides the right amount of moisture, tint and the SPF is a bonus. i would recommend this to everyone!!

Just what I was looking for

I love this in the spring and summer when I don't want to wear full make-up but still need color for my lips. I always wear lip balm, so I could never wear color until I got this. Now I have both! :)
The color is sheer with one swipe, but layers easily for bolder color. I LOVE this.

Smashbox is by far my favourite brand of makeup and skincare. I'm a bit disappointed that they discontinued so many colours though. I went crazy online and found 1 each of shine and solar from a smaller online cosmetic store and bought 3 of ray and 2 of beam from Smashbox's online store. I think I have enough to last me a good long while. I love the sheer wash of colour that beam gives my lips. I'm not sure how some of the other raters have been using this product as it is not dry at all and is indeed very hydrating and smooth. I'm not a fan of thick lipsticks so this tinted treatment lipstick is perfect for me. The light honey scent is marvelous! I live near the beach so there's always the ocean breeze that damages my skin. With this product, I know at least my lips are covered. I love the casing also, it is very sophisticated. I wish Smashbox would reconsider taking this off the market...

I really liked the way it looked and felt at the store, but noticed within two days that my lips felt rough. It dried out my lips to the point I had to stop using it and treat them w/ Carmex for a least a week just to get back to normal. I returned it to the store where they suggested I'm allergic to it.

Nothing smooths my lips like the Smashbox treatment lipstick. The clear lipstick I usually buy wasn't available, so I tried the tinted and loved it just as much. I just can't apply it before bedtime. Hope Sephora has more in stock for my next shopping trip!

I love this product, but unfortunately they discontinued my favorite shade (ray) which was a berry color. I used to purchase them three at a time. The color lasted and kept my dry lips conditioned at the same time. Please bring the other shades back! Loveee smashbox!

I've never been a big lipstick person, so I've been looking for a tinted lip treatment like this for a while. Tried the Fresh brand Rosé lip treatment in the store, and didn't particularly like the look of it. This product is more my taste, since it's less glossy and more matte. I only give it four stars because I personally wouldn't use this product in lieu of chapstick. For me, it's more like a particularly moisturizing lip stick.
