Pretty Glow- 11.21.09
Great for summer or when you're not looking for a lot of coverage. Feels super thick going on but does absorb well. I wasn't crazy about the smell though. Nice that it has a little SPF.

Great but a litle thick!- 11.12.09

This product is absolutely great if you're looking for a primer/lotion but it does not have a lot of color so if you're looking for more coverage, you might want to also use a foundation or if you don't want to use foundation (stila has a great illuminating foundation that gives an extra spark), then you should just get the regular tinted moisturizer that has more pigment. The product is also thick and hard to spread so I find myself using more than I used to but it feels great on your skin and it gives you just the right amount of "illumination." I have very sensitive skin and Stila is one of the brands I never have any problems with, I have had even the mineral types which are supposedly healthier but they make me break out so this is an amazing product to me!
Mix a little into your foundation to brighten skin or use a bit as a highlighter

Youth in a bottle- 11.09.09
Quick Take: sheer coverage, lightweight, easily mixes with my foundation
I'm 60 years old, and this is just the greatest. I combine this with my foundation for a little more coverage, however, it is so moist that my laugh lines are diffused...and I look much better - not cakey in any way! More mature skin needs coverage, however, cakey is not cool!!

This is one of the best tinted moisturizer I've tried. Doesn't look too matte or too shiny. However I have very dry skin, and on my T-Zone sometimes it can be a little heavy. But it a very nice light coverage option for someone with dry or combination skin (and you can't go wrong with SPF).

Blends, moisturizes, last all day and does not look like a "mask". I do finish off with a mineral veil and am set for the day and evening.

This moisturizer sets a good foundation for your base application and leaves your skin with a soft "glow". Guess that is why ILLUMINATING is in the name. It is thick with a tacky texture that causes your makeup to adhere to it. I like it
I use this with another moisturizer since my skin is more mature... but what I really like it the glow it gives my skin. I apply powder or another foundation depending on the occasion to even out skin tone. To me it's not as lightweight as some but It seems to provide a bit more coverage plus the glow.
I love this so much, I am on my second bottle! It is not heavy at all, but perfect enough for days without make-up to just put some on your face and go. Just the right amount of sheen.
This is nice. The shimmer is very understated. It feels sticky at first but sinks in well. I wouldn't say it's really moisturizing. I'd use it over my normal moisturizer.
First off, I have really dry skin. I use this over another light moisturizer and still don't feel oily. It gives just the right flawless look and coverage, while still being light. I've been a huge Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer fan and this is comparable, but Stila costs less.

Sorry Ladies - Me No Likey- 10.14.09
Quick Take: disappointing, way too sheer, not very moisturizing
This looked so pretty - till I put it on. It did not look or feel different to me - my skin that is. For $32, I expected more. I returned mine. Too bad, because it really looks gorgeous. Sorry to disagree here, but I guess not everything really is for everyone. Keep in mind that you too may be the rare exception who does not find this to be all that, as I did not.

Love Love Love. Goes on smoothly, lightweight. Can wear alone or I often combine with foundation. Next time I will buy the deeper shade so I can wear it alone more often.

A disappointment- 10.10.09

This was my first experience with a tinted moisturizer. What I wanted was something lightweight that would even out skin tone somewhat--a quick un-made-up look that could, nevertheless, appear in public for a quick trip to the store or a walk by the beach. Instead, Stila's Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer left my normal to dry skin looking oiliy/shiney to the extreme. I would not recommend this product.
