Moisturizing Foundation Primer- 11.19.09
Quick Take: very moisturizing, gives skin an even texture, good primer for foundation & blush
I've tried many face primers (Benefit "That Gal", Laura Geller Face Spackle), but this is the most moisturizing one yet. My makeup goes on smooth when I use this primer, and has good staying power. It really is moisturizing, which is a real plus in the dry winter months. I wish it had a little better "staying power", but it's good for the price and quantity. It may work better for my skin tone (medium) if I had bought a tinted version. I might try that next time.

This is an adaptation of her original primer, now offered in several skin typed formulas. Excellent at helping makeup and tinted moisurizers go on evenly and stay put. One of the best primers on the market!

Nice primer - especially for winter- 11.13.09
Quick Take: seems a little greasy
I like this primer, especially in the winter. It is much heavier than the regular LM primer though and seems to need a couple minutes to "set" before I apply foundation. Also, if you travel by air you might want to avoid this product; since, like the LM tinted moisturizers it comes in a tube and product leaks out into the cap *every single time*. Messy and wasteful.

I like this primer, but I use the oil-free version. Both this one and the one by Stila are my favorite primers, although I must confess that I use them more as light moisturizers (I have oily skin) than primers.

Smooth & Even ... Long Lasting!- 10.28.09

I'm 49 and this is a lovely primer. It goes on smooth and evens out my skintone. It seems to plump my skin, but nothing outrageous. I like the way it gives my foundation staying power. I've tried many, many primers and Laura Mercier gives you a lot of product for the price. Its overall a nice product at a realistically priced size. The tube fits nice in your hand and I don't think all of the product will stay in the tube when its done. Some tubes capture all the product for themselves! This is definately something to give a try. It's not heavy and I won't start my day without it.

This is a great primer. I love the way makes my skin feels when I put it on. It alonst feels like a cooling freshing feeling. I also love the way it has the ability to hold your foundation. You do not need to wait to apply your foundation. I use the with Diors cake foundation and it last all day. Worth the price.

I cannot begin to say how helpful "Kirstie" was when I asked for a foundation primer. I showed her an ad I had for a different product, but she analyzed my skin needs and suggested Laura Mercier's. I've tried all the primers, but this is my favorite! It's creamy texture soaks into my skin, leaving it perfect for my foundation. It's not greasy. My foundation doesn't slip off because of it. It just moistens my skins, absorbs quickly, and makes application of my foundation easy and flawless. I love this primer!
