Amazing! Goes on great and stays on! I had a pretty bad day recently and cried my eyes out....this liner stayed put. Went out to dinner with no touch up to my liner. Awesome!

Quick Take: waterproof, long wearing
I only review if a product is five stars or one star. I have monolids and have never been able to use any liner that doesn't crease or run or look garish on my small eyes. This bronze is a lovely color and so easy to apply with a Sephora gel eyeliner brush #26. Lasts all day!

I have good luck with liquid liners, generally. This one was a little waxy and dried with flaky-bits after 5-6 hours. Perhaps my applications were not correct? In any case, it was returned...I stll think Smashbox is a very good line-

Quick Take: waterproof, long wearing
This is a good liner. It goes on smooth even if you have a shaky hands like me. It's long lasting and waterproof. It stays on outside of lids a long time without fading or falling down your face. It looks fantastic on inner rims of lids too but needs more frequent touch ups to keep it looking good. It starts to fall from inner lids after 3 hours or so. Outside lids lasts about 7 hrs and longer if you use a good primer before it starts to flake.

Great for Asian eyes (monolids)

If you are Asian and looking for eye liner that will work with your eyes, this is the liner for you! It goes on like a dream, dries super fast, and doesn't leave smudge marks on your lids (even after a long sweaty day at work)! It also works well with all types of brushes to achieve whatever look you're going for (I'm a huge fan of and a daily cat eye wearer). Also, this eye liner doesn't get dried out like so many other eye liners out there. Seriously, it's awesome.

This is the first review that I have EVER written. This stuff is amazing! stays put for at least 8 hours. Very thick and dark. (I have black) I dampen my brush and dab it in the container. I am 48 and this is the best eyeliner I have ever found!!!!!

Quick Take: beautiful color.
Beautiful bronze color, This is best used with a thin eyeliner brush.This eyeliner has tendency to be a little clumpy,so tap the brush on the side of the pot before applying. Long lasting stays on my eyes all day and I have moist eyelids.

My new everyday liner

I scooped up this liner in brown the other day because it was on sale, and am I ever glad I did.
It definitely takes a steadier hand as it sets very quickly, so mistakes are difficult to fix. I have large eyes and do a thicker line on my top lid for pretty much all my makeup looks. I start out thin at the lash line and slowly build up to the thickness I want. I tend to make most of my mistakes with the initial line so I can smooth the line out as I go. I use the Sephora Collection angled eyeliner brush to apply and I'll go back in with the Smashbox Arced Eyeliner Brush if I need to fill in any spots or to get the line right to the inner corner of my eye.
It lasts all day without any touch-ups, something my pencils can't do, and yet it still comes off easily with my regular facial cleanser.
I'm a little nervous to think that this liner won't last very long because I've read a lot of reviews saying it dries out in the pot very quickly, but only time will tell on that one. For now, I love the texture and find it goes on very smoothly.

Quick Take: smudgable
Im really disappointed with this product. I bought a lot of smash-box items before and have been pleased but this eyeliner is not what it says it is. I bought this eyeliner because i trusted the brand. Its difficult to apply and doesn't exactly go on smoothly. It smudges and creases on my eyes. I would repurchase this item. It is expensive and now i have no use for it

I used to religiously use smashbox's eyeliner, however after trying this eyeliner twice I found that it is clumpy when it comes out onto your brush and a much poorer quality than their previous gel eyeliner.

I have tried SO many liners and this one is the best for me. I have extremely oily lids and some of the other well loved liners have smudged or transferred on me because of my eye shape. This is the first one that finally stayed put! However, it is a tiny bit on the dry side, which is why I took off one star. But that is probably the reason it stays put so well. It can also tend to flake if you apply too much, so it took some trial and error to get it right, but now that I have mastered it - I love it! The black is super black and very pigmented. I will definitely be buying this again when I run out.

I just bought this yesterday (dark purple color) and tried it as soon as I got home. It wouldn't apply. I thought it was because I had eyeshadow on, so I removed my eyeshadow and I still had a difficult time having this eyeliner to show -- even on my lower eyelash line. I dug my brush deeper into the pot thinking that it was dried up on top, sure enough, the top was already dried up. However, it was still difficult to have the liner show unless I apply it thicker. I'm returning it tomorrow. I'm so disappointed since it had great reviews and I loved the color -- very dark purple and no shimmer.

love love love! This product is my first time using a gel liner, and it's great! I'm very impressed by the pigment, smoothness, as well as its endurance. I could wipe my finger with no smudges after a good 30 seconds to minute. It lasts all night too, I slept with it on and I woke up with little difference. I would definitely recommend this over any pencil eyeliner!
