This stuff is amazing! Makes your skin soft, smooth, and not greasy feeling at all. It also has a soft pleasant scent. I know the price is high, but you get what you pay for. If you can catch it on a VIB sale or some other sale, definitely pick this up! Best face cream/moisturizer EVER.

Have used for years

This moisturizer has been with me for years, even through the oily stages of my skin. It never leaves me feeling greasy and although intense, it feels light on the skin. I am now 50 and so glad I was talked into purchasing this years ago. It is expensive, but lasts forever and makes such a difference. It is worth every penny. My skin is still soft yet firm.

I've used this product (happily) for w while. The cream in this jar is a different consistency - not quite as creamy. Works OK. Maybe the jar is old???.

I find this product moisturizes very well. I would like the sunscreen to be higher though. It leaves your skin dewy for quite a long time. The only real complaint I have is that it should be in a pump, so the all the great anti aging ingredients don't oxidize and lose their potency. By the time you get halfway though the jar, it is probably just a normal moisturizer. For this price, I want every last drop to be just as potent as the first!

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
This is lightweight yet can moisturize so well. It leaves my face very soft and moisturized for many hours. This brightens/improves my skin tone as well. I usually use Lancome's Teint Idole Fresh Wear, and this moisturizer goes very well under my foundation. The product is expensive but since it's so thin that a little can go a long way.

I got this in a sample size and I really like the feel and smell. Thick enough to soothe dry skin but not so thick that it feels like a mask. I just wish the full size product were less expensive.

I am 44 and am most definitely experiencing some "hormonal changes". This is an extremely rich cream and I only use it in winter as a night cream. I am simply amazed with the difference in my skin. My main concern is lack of firmness and clarity, for which I find the Volumetry to be perfect. However, in winter I need that lil extra drink of moisture and protection. This is great stuff! I'm sure a day will come when I will need to use it year round. I'm saying if you are over 40 this is something you should definitely incorporate into your skincare regime.

This is a very heavy cream meant for people who are in their 40s and up. I am in my 20s and thought I would try it out as an intense anti-aging to be preventative, but it was too heavy for my skin, and I broke out pretty severely. I love Lancome products and will try this again when I am older.

This is not for everyone.

This is an intensive anti-aging moisturizer for woman who are in the menopausal stage of life and older. If you are younger than that you should be looking into high resolution or renergie. I work for lancome and the last person I would ever recommend absolue to is someone in their 20's, because frankly you'll be paying way to much when you should just be using primordiale. However, if you are 50+ and going through hormone change you will see AMAZING results with absolue. My mom has been using the absolue line for less than a month now and already her skin is more even toned and plumped. Absolue is an unbelievable product!

I have combo skin that borders on dry but tends to break out during hormonal changes.
I love this moisturizer because it goes on smoothly and you only need to use a little bit. You barely notice it is on your face but it is working!
I have a sample and it has still lasted. Since I am a college student I prob. wouldn't pay over a 100 on a moisturizer but since it lasts so long it probably is a better choice over cheaper items.
I also love the smell. it has a nice rich moisturizer smell with the sun tan lotion - it reminds me of a holiday!

I used a deluxe sample of this. It could just be the spf, but this cream is so greasy. I can't use it during the day because that combined with my makeup will make me break out! I've been using it for a few weeks as my night cream, but yesterday I glanced in the mirror and noticed that my upper cheeks looked wrinkled and dry. I'll have to try something else.

I love this moisturizer. This is probably my 3rd or 4th jar. It goes on beautifully. Makeup glides right over it. It makes my skin look healthy, moist, firm. It brings clariy and seems to diminish sun damage. It is a luxurious cream. I highly recommend

So creamy and so hydrating. Rich moisturizers usually make me break out but not this one and I’m so glad I found it. It’s really hard to find a moisturizer that works for combination/dry but yet acne prone skin that is starting to show signs of aging! It’s getting warmer and my skin is transitioning to oilier, so I’ll have to stop using this for awhile but I’ll definitely be back to this come winter.

this is luxurious, and very smooth and silky cream... it spreads beautifully, clears the skin. Only problem for me, my husband says I smell like I'm wearing Carolina Herrera 212 for Men! Only for that reason, I won't buy this again!
