Use sparingly

This product is good, smells amazing (like lemon cookie) but be careful about how much you use it and only use a small amount or you'll end up with a massive residue that makes your hair feel heavy, and or greasy. If you use only once a week you'll love this. If not, your head will feel like it gained 5 lbs.

great conditioner

This conditioner really softens my long hair and makes it manageable. I have tried many different conditioners and this works best for my hair. I would prefer that it came in a tube, but it is worth using the jar.

The Holy Grail of Curly Hair Products

Quick Take: easy to use, quick results
I should qualify to say I've only been using this for about a week, so there's always a possibility after the New Product Honeymoon ends, it won't work as well.
But for now, it's FANTASTIC. I have curly hair and use this every day for my standard conditioner, even though it is a mask. You only need a very small portion so I expect it will last a good while.
My curls are light and springy and very healthy looking. Previously, I was having trouble with very dry curls and lots of frizz.
The only downside is the fragrance. It's citrusy, which would be OK except it smells exactly like some household cleaning products I use.

Worth the money!

I have been looking for a hair mask that I can use every couple of days in place of my conditioner. I have long hair but split ends from hear damage. I cover all of my ends with this and let it sit for about 3 minutes while I wash my face in the shower, then rinse it out. it has dramatically healed my hair!! It is so much more healthier and i will be able to use this product for about 3-4 months with one jar. Amazing product!!

Quick Take: conditioning
This hydrating mask is super conditioning, and smells AMAZING. I have bleached blonde hair, which tends to feel like straw. I love this product because it conditions my hair, and makes it healthy and strong...and SUPER soft! Every day is a good hair day with when I use the Phyto products.

I accidentally ordered this mask instead of the Phyto one I'd been using for years...I only wash ~every 5 days since I've very fine, colored, insane lions mane-ish hair that has to be burned into submission, so I use this every wash. Upon my next salon visit, my hairdresser said "Doll, whatever you've been doing, keep it up." My hair has felt and looked wonderful since my accidental click on this mask months ago.

I've been lightening my naturally dark brown hair to an almost strawberry blonde over the past year.
This conditioner has helped soften my otherwise straw-like hair to the extent that you may not even be able to tell I have bleached it.
Fully agree with other reviewers about the application process. You must follow the directions to garner the claimed results.
Towel dry, then apply.

I have used for the 3rd time. I had aplplied before with my hair wet and didn't like it that much. I finally applied as directed on the container and had a better result.

Quick Take: not worth it
After repeatedly dyeing and straightening my hair, it became frizzy and extremely damaged so I decided to buy this product. I tried it three times and my hair did get a tinsy bit smoother, but honestly it isn't worth the price. I wouldn't even pay $20 for what it did for my hair. I'm definitely returning this.

Quick Take: expensive, difficult to use
A lackluster conditioner in every sense. It's difficult to use, because you need to towel dry your hair first and brush it in. My hair does not readily absorb it. I have light brown dry, curly hair. This was definitely not worth the price.

I have very fine, dry hair. For some reason, after I'm done with a treatment with this product, my hair comes out feeling even drier and more brittle then it did before. I can't run my fingers through my hair and I get giant knots in it constantly throughout the day. It'd be better if I didn't bother conditioning it at all.

I'm hair obsessed and tested several conditioners. Some conditioners didn't soften my hair at all. Some conditioned it too much to a point that it's oily. This is the only product that works perfectly with my hair! My hair is nice and bouncy because of this wonderful hair mask. I got this as a sample from Sephora and will definitely buy it when the sample runs out

This stuff is amazing. It makes my hair feel so silky but gives it MORE volume. Something I never thought I would find in a hair product. I wash my hair every other day and use this each time because of how beautiful it makes my hair.

I recently fried my hair during a coloring experiment and had a head full of straw! I called the beauty insider line and they suggested this... I have washed my hair once with this, leaving it in for 6 minutes before rinsing and my hair is already soft and manageable again! I plan to do weekly deep conditioning treatments to keep its health, but I already see an amazing difference with just one treatment! Love it!!!

I use this after I swim just to combat the immediate drying effects of the chlorine, but really, it's nothing special. I haven't noticed any improvement or major differences after continued use. Feels good and doesn't smell bad, but nothing to write home about.

Does everthing it boasts. I am 65 with aging hair that I color treat. This gives my hair beautiful shine and my stylist tells me my hair is in "best condition ever" since I've been using it.

I think this actually dried my hair out more. I tried doing the oil treatment too hoping that the two working together would do some good, but sadly no. I couldn't even get a comb threw my hair afterward:(
