Quick Take: makes neck lines invisible
This is my first ever review because the results from this product for me have been pretty major! I am 52 yrs old and my neck was showing the signs of aging very much and after using this, I gotta say its done more than I expected! I will never stop using this and it's worth the price!

Quick Take: hydrating, firming, tightening
I love the Clarins product line (esp the eye cream) so I got the neck cream. It went on smooth and silky but the fragrance was a bit strong for me. I bought it online so I did not test it in the store first. It might just be a personal preference. Sephora's good exchange policy allowed me to return it for something else.

Purchased this because Lancome discontinued their cream specifically for the neck. I AM GLAD I DID!!! Light and goes right in. Smooths my neck skin , tightens the start of "turkey neck" without the dryness of other tightening formulas...I love it!! I would have given it 5 stars but the glass jar is real heavy and price quite high...although, you do seem to get what you pay for!

Very moisturizing and very fragrant!

People weren't kidding about the floral fragrance in this cream - I like fragrance and this is getting to me a little. The cream is a pleasant texture and very moisturizing. However I don't think it is making a difference in my neck texture overall. When you use it there is an immediate improvement in appearance but I am not seeing a long-term effect. I will probably switch back to another product that isn't carried at Sephora (which is why I tried this one). One good thing is that this is non-irritating.

I use prescription Retin-A nightly & have tried other product to get reduce the lines in my neck & crepey skin. I didn't reallly think that I needed a lifting product since my skin does not sag. I asked a dermatogist & he recommended Botox every 3-4 months for the lines and cost thousands a year & still not solve the skin texture. A Sephora associate recommended this product & the results are amazing after just two applications, I can't wait to see the results after continued use.

While this softens and slightly tightens my neck, the cream I used before -- Borba Neck Cream -- cost less than $35 and does a better job. This is simply not worth the money.

This is a miracle in a jar.keeps your neck looking a soft & smooth as your face. This is one item I always have in my bathroom. Tried others don't get same results. I love the scent too. Really is worth the $. I have used it for over 10 years

I am 62 years old and have been using this neck cream for about 20 years. I recently had a facial and the technician thought I was 45 years old! My necks looks wonderful and I would highly recommend. Worth every penn;y.

About the product claims

This is a nice cream and I like how soft it makes my skin. It absorbs well and it does have a light, silky tecture. However, it does NOT remove wrinkles. I've been using it twice a day for a month, and there is no change in my neck lines and wrinkles. I have seen no lifting and can't say that my neck looks younger. However, I enjoy the effect of softening the skin enough that I would buy this again! That effect is better than any average lotion I have used.

A very wonderful friend gave me Clarins Advanced Extra-Firming Neck Cream as a birthday present. This is one of her very favorite products, and I know she gives part of herself when she gives a gift. I'm already using something else that I've found to be very effective, but under the circumstances, I very much wanted to be able to use and like her special gift, just as much as she loves it. I've been using this wonderful neck cream a few times a week, because I'm so appreciative of this gift.
Since I'm extremely happy with my chosen cream Clarins Advanced Extra-Firming Neck Cream faced an uphill battle. However, after using it a few times a week, I've have to say it's excellent. I can't tell you which is better, since I'm using both, but I know they're both good, and probably equally so, because I ran an experiment treating the top of my left hand (mu brand) and right hand (Clarins). Both hands fared very well, and I can't see any difference, except to say that both seem much softer than they were before I started this experiment. I also noticed that the creases at my wrists seem less pronounced than they were previously. I realize that this isn't a very scientific way to compare products, but it meant a lot to my friend that I use her Clarins, and I didn't want to forego the exceptional results from the one I'm using.
The Clarins has a nice floral scent to it, while the one I had has a smell which is difficult to describe, but isn't what I'd call scented. The Clarins is more "feminine" and soft. Since I have both, and both are expensive, I'll continue to use both as I've been doing now. I do know that Clarins makes an excellent Neck Cream that's very impressive. I highly recommend it.

This is my fifth jar of this cream. I sleep on my side and had noticed wrinkles devloping on my neck and decolette/chest several years ago which is when I began "checking out" alternatives for prevention of further wrinkles and diminishing of those that had already appeared. Some of the creams I tried just didn't seem to "melt" into my skin like I wanted; some left a sticky residue; some had a chemical odor; others simply seemed to do nothing at all, no matter how expensvie they were.
Though expensive, Clarins' version really has fit the bill for me. It does a fantastic job of keeping further wrinkles at bay, it luxuriously melts into my skin each morning and I don't even notice its presence. Those wrinkles that I first noticed several years ago have all but disappeared and I'm not at all concious when I wear revealing necklines. I know some reviewers have mentioned the rather strong floral scent of this cream, but it honestly disappears very quickly and does not at all compete with other products (such as fragrances or body lotions) that you actually WANT to smell.
This terrific cream really does it all - just give it time. I'm so thankful to have found it. It's one product that I absolutely can't do without. The jar is quite hefty, by the way, so I always put some into a plastic travel jar with a tight-fitting lid when I go on trips. (Just a little tip there!) I bought this cream once in Europe, by the way, thinking I'd save some money, and it was actually more expensive than it was here in the U.S. Now I buy an extra jar when Sephora has their 15% off sale, so the price is less staggering. :)
