Quick Take: good value, wonderful!
Bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday back in July. He had been wearing scents that wore off in minutes. I bought him this after he had voiced an interest in Polo products, and WOW, did he pick a good one. I can't stop smushing my face into his chest to smell this. It's a very comforting smell and makes him seem even more attractive than he already is. ;) Haha!

Quick Take: delicious, spicy
I just want to live in a bottle of Double Black. I only wear men's fragrance (with the exclusion of Burberry Brit Red, which smells pretty manly to me) and this is my favorite. For reference, I previously stole my brother's bottle of Burberry Brit for Men before I found this. Be forewarned though, some guys get really confused when they're attracted to a girl wearing a man's fragrance.

I bought this for myself after getting a sample in a magazine. I love the scent. My wife likes it also and the women at work like it. If you want to give a gift to your husband, boyfriend, whatever, this is a good choice.

Quick Take: masculine, sexy, spicy
I'll be blunt... I love a man that smells good. While this isn't my #1 favorite cologne (Dior's Fahrenheit will always be the sexiest scent on a man, in my opinion), this fragrance is definitely #2.
Perhaps it's my coffee addiction... or the kick of spice from the spiced mango and cardamom, but the combination of such fragrance notes is incredibly sexy... especially after a bit when it's settled on your man's skin. There are times when I just love to steal one of my boyfriend's white t-shirts or such because of the lingering scent. It's warm and enticing... utterly comforting. But without being overwhelming! That's the best part... the scent is very well-balanced.
All in all, I think this is a very sexy scent and I would think that some men can certainly wear this fragrance well. If you're looking for something a little different, spicy and mysterious, but without being too strong... well, this scent could be exactly what you're looking for.

I am defininitely in love with this cologne. I picked it out long before I even asked my boyfriend if he liked the smell! The scent is masculine, yet complicated. in my opinion it can be worn on men of all ages, my boyfriend is 21 and my dad is 52, and either one could wear this! It's just an excellent scent. When I stay at my boyfriends I spray it on myself in the morning, that's how good it is. Wish it wasn't weird for a girl to wear cologne!

I've been bringing home samples of men's fragrances for my husband to try to see if he can find one that he likes better than his long-time favorite original Polo. He liked this Polo Double Black pretty well. He thought it smelled a lot like his original Polo with a bit more of a spicy aroma mixture in it, but what he didn't like was that it was a much stronger smell than what he is used to. I thought it smelled really good on him, but he is sticking with his original green bottle of Polo.

Quick Take: spicy, fresh, masculine, weak staying power
Polo Double Black is such a wonderful scent! It is hard to describe the notes in this one, you just have to smell it yourself to appreciate it. All the notes blend well into each other and the fragrance was enjoyable from beginning to end, which is rarely said with a discriminative nose like mine. It is spicy and fresh at the same time. I think I detect a peppery note in there as well as vetiver. The spiced mango can be smelled from the bottle but in the air and on the skin I cannot detect it. All the combined notes blend well to create a strong, masculine yet not overwhelming, heady or a loud scent which a lot of male cologne's can be.
The only downside is that the lasting power is extremely poor on my skin. I wish it would last longer!
I think it's great to wear for a night out and can be worn by any age but in my head I picture a sophisticated well dressed man in his mid to late twenties. For the ladies that enjoy wearing men's cologne, I enjoy wearing this but am comfortable wearing masculine colognes. I don't necessarily think this could pass as unisex for the majority of people, but go ahead and try it if you want! I would recommend this and personally see Polo Double Black as a standard fragrance for men.
