This is my new go-to palette. I feel like I can experiment with many different looks with this set. The price is awesome and I love the packaging. I love how glittery and shimmery Urban Decay's shadows can be and this one doesn't disappoint. Though the glitter falls around the eye, I find it to enhance the look by giving my face added shimmer. I don't use the provided applicator and instead use a brush but the colors are vibrant, beautiful, and blendable. After purchasing this palette, I loved it so much I ran and bought Urban Decay's Book of Shadows Vol. II

Quick Take: good value, portable
I would agree with most of the other viewers, the glitter can sometimes end up everywhere and even occasionally in my contacts. However, i can overlook this becasue I love glitter adn shimmer! All the colors are actually very wearable. The blue, used sparingly is also wearable. This has been my favorite palette purchase so far! Plus the packaging is really cute!

Love these colors!- 11.12.09
I recently bought this item at a sephora store and I really like it. All of the colors in this palette blend well beautifully and they go with almost everything. Its perfect for everyday use and has colors that will work for any occasion. I gave this product 4 stars because there are so many sparkles in the eyeshadow and they get all over my face which tends to be annoying sometimes but other than that I love love love this shadow! :)

Love this my new Must Have- 11.12.09
Quick Take: good value, portable, many options, blendable, day or night
I had looked at many palettes even the tarte one caught my eye but this palette is all you need. They have the colors paired up for easy quick application. Fits well in a purse or hand bag for on the go gals. Its all favorites so you cant go wrong. I am telling you this is the best. I wouldnt trade this for any other palette out there.

these colors are great and easy to carry with you. only downfall is that the shadows with more shimmer, most of the ones on the bottom row, get glitter everywhere - both during application and later in the day. otherwise, i love this palette.

Awesome!- 11.09.09
Quick Take: portable, long wearing, excellent for playing, beautiful inside and out
First of all the case is beautiful and something to show off. Having been a fan of UD glitter eyeliner i tried this and i am hooked! The colors go on beautifully and last a long time with any primer. The colors are varied which is why i picked this palette. I feel like i can create eye looks that i never trusted other eye shadows to pull off. My only reserve is that the formula is not natural (it has parabens and other bad stuff). If UD goes natural combined with their anti-animal cruelty policy i would LOVE this brand!

AWESOME EYESHADOW- 11.09.09
Although I'm not a fan of glitter fallout, it can be controlled a little if you put a kleenex on your face under your eyes while applying and using primer potion. Still, sparkles will tend to end up on your face with a good half of the shadows in this palette, but the amazing colors and pigmentation of these shadows make up for that small shortfall in my opinion. I love using polyester bride as an eyebrow highlight, sometimes sin too. I think i use grifter and last call (together) the most out of this palette, makes my green eyes pop. Also LOVE Mildew, and smog. I wouldn't recommend if you absolutely hate glitter, but if you don't mind a little glitter, I would recommend because the colors are beautiful and not all of them even have glitter. Many possibilities to be creative with this palette!

Quick Take: good value, portable, changed my mind about makeup in a great way
This was the first product I have used from Urban Decay and it got me hooked to this line of makeup!! I love all the colors in this palette, and too me, they stay on your eyes all day. I especially love the glitter colors and the way the glitter says on your eyes but also falls on to your cheeks...its very pretty!!! Its very easy to aply and it makes your eyes pop!

The colors are beautiful and this brand eye shadow blends in your eyes easily. I have used alot of eye shadows and many times the color wears off within 3-4 hrs. But this really Stays! If you use the Primer Portion before using these eye shadow, the colors will last you all day. It works!

UD Ammo Eye Palette- 11.03.09
The UD Ammo palette has highly pigmented shadows - a plus for this pallet. I find the display of colors a great variety. The shadows with the glitter are a bit too much at times, although I haven't tried tapping the brush more before applying. I find that the glitter is too obvious - people are always commenting "Why are you wearing glitter?" - this is due to the glitter dropping on to my cheek or lower eye after a few hours of wear. Since I'm older than 12, the large chunks of glitter on my cheek are a distinct drawback to the UD shadows.

I wish i could say that i LOVE this palette but it's a little to glittery and sparkly for me.. i mean i would like it more if the shimmer doesnt go on my face after a long day.. nonetheless.. the colors are nice, would be better if its even more pigmented. if you are trying to purchase an urban decay palette, i would recommend the urban decay deluxe shadow box over this one.. ( only if u like more pigmented/ vibrant colors).

Nice item for the price- 11.01.09
Quick Take: good value
This is a good buy. I like all the shades and while its true about half the colors are very glittery, they're versatile and pretty. Im older and I can get away with it in day if I mix it with a less glittery shade. I dont have a problem with glitter falling on my face because I use a damp brush to apply it over primer, its longer lasting that way. The colors seem to stay well throughout the day. A good buy. I dont know how portable it is, my feeling is the shadows may break up with wear and tear in a handbag, best left at home.
