Quick Take: amazing, powerful, better as a mask
A salesperson recommended this to me to use as a mask instead of a cleanser, which I do, now 2x a week and the results are truly amazing. It has remarkably faded my considerable freckling and discolouration from years of sun exposure and done wonders for my pores and made me skin incredibly smooth and even. It was my gateway product to the dermadoctor brand which is overall an incredible brand!

Very Disappointed!

I use a couple of DERMAdoctor's products reliously because they do what I bought them for. However - physical CHEMISTRY is a flop. The beads in it are way too big and the cream is too dry. The feel is like gravel in wet cement. Sounds harsh... and that's how it felt on my face. Perhaps on the body? For $75 a jar... I'll keep my money and buy a nice fine, moist magnesium scrub.

Worth the $$

I have been using this for ten months now. I just purchased my second jar. I am 41, so dealing with signs of aging but also have always had acne prone skin. I get bumps on my forehead where my bangs are. This product smoothes the area nicely with no irritation. I will not accept a substitute.

I really love this product! Before this product my face didn't look smooth when I put on makeup but now it looks and feels so smooth! My acne marks have even improved! I have been using it for about a month, I use it twice a week till it dries and then I wash it off. I love it! Even though it is high in price, its worth it!

This is a great little microdermabrasion and does the job well. I will agree that the pump needs work, but if you are patient you can get enough product out. Actually you only need one pump to use all over face because a little goes a long way. The first time you use you may have to push to pump down 2-3 times.

Quick Take: bad packaging
I got one use out of it. For $75 I would have been better off going to a spa and getting a peel. Horrible packaging makes it impossible to get any product out. I am taking it back today.

Quick Take: perfect
Fabulous product. I was looking for something like this and I found it. It exfoliates, yet it is gentle. My skin is clean, smooth and glowing. I have been using it a week and a half. Already I notice a difference in the brightness and texture. This product is a dream come true!

I am in my late twenties, concerned about anti aging, fine lines, exfoliating.... also still suffer from monthly breakouts, acne from hormonal birth control & since I was a late teen - occasional cystic acne in the chin/jaw area that any dermatologist recommends a low but constant dose of antibiotics for, no thank you... This product has been a god-send!
It exfoliates dead skin right off... after you rub it in, the dry skin rubs off looking like pencil eraser shreds, its gross how much dead dry skin you can have sitting atop your face, dulling your complexion & creating or exaggerating fine lines. I actually felt like I had fine lines in a couple places but realized it was DRY SKIN building up, I received a sample of this & the packet lasted me 3 applications... I used them far apart from eachother but each time my skin was smooth, SOFT, radiant, & reduced breakouts probably from dry skin collecting over my semi oily areas. I finally purchased a full size, & though the price is steep, you use barely any product & it dispenses the amount u need for each application, so no guessing or waste. I use this a couple of times a week & I have found that my skin is clearing up more than I thought possible!!! Blackheads I thought would be constant have completely disappeared & the waxy plug like acne I get just comes to the surface & comes out without having to squeeze or extract to where it leaves a mark or redness that I need to cover with makeup for a few days. My skin shines like it is radiant from underneath, I use less makeup, it applies easier & I even look okay without makeup, made my skin look good! I produce less oil, I don't have the dry patchy spots, the spots I get acne because oil or dry skin collects inhibiting natural exfoliation leading to breakouts are gone & my skin is just soft.... Also here is a huge bonus for me.... I tan regularly (I know its so awful for your skin blah blah, but I do it) & it doesn't irritate my skin! I can use this & tan the next day & not have redness or dry skin. If I could give this 10 stars, I would. I got this for anti-aging & found a great product for my breakouts. Kudos for this product.

Quick Take: a little harsh, drying, bacteria safe
I tried this product because I love the acne serum dermadoctor. However this was a bust. I love how this item dispenses though, there shouldn't be a reason why you should touch the whole product with your hands (bacteria). The product has a tingling feeling when you apply, however I found this product a bit harsh on my skin.

Quick Take: multi-tasking, amazing
Let me begin by saying I have extremely problematic skin- acne, blemishes, clogged pores, sensitivity, oily and dry combination. When I first tried this scrub it burned alot (esp the raw areas where I picked my blemishes) and I was afraid of how irritated my skin would look after. However, after rinsing and patting, my skin was completely calm- no redness or irritation. This might sound weird but the areas of raw skin actually looked healed!
The second time I used this, the results were even better. I scrub this on my face while the skin is dry until the beads disappear (about 5 minutes) and I can literally see my dead skin sloughing off on my fingers. My skin was so bright and baby smooth after. I have tried so many top end products that exacerbate or do nothing for my acne and the raised bumps on my forehead (acne medications actually make me breakout!). This has dimished both and does not dry our my skin AT ALL. Best skincare product Ive ever found!!

I like the results I'm seeing so far with the peel but the dispenser is perpetually stuck. So then I'm forced to press down on it with extra pressure and it squirts out more product than I wanted. Dermadoctor, CHANGE THE DISPENSER!! Love the product, though.

I really didn't think I needed this sort of treatment as I already liked my skin. I was looking for a product that would help relieve some dry patches and the sales assistant gave me a sample of this. I used it one night followed by first aid beauty face lotion. The next day I noticed my makeup applying much smoother and at the end of the day my boyfriend commented on how beautiful my skin looked (he didn't even know I had done anything different!) after reading reviews that said this product lasted around a year I got the guts to purchase the full size. I really do love this product and I cannot recommend it enough. If you want to wake up your face and renew the look of your skin, this is for you. I hope over time this product will diminish red spots left by acne as many reviews have claimed.

I wish I could use this product everyday! (not recommended of course) It just leaves my skin feeling so smooth after every use.
I have full control of my adult acne using this product alongside Dermadoctor's Ain't Misbehavin face wash (which is also AMAZING btw) and let me tell you, its a winning combo to help control acne. But, going back to Physical Chemistry, I've noticed a dramatic difference in the overall appearance of my skin. I've minimized the appearance of the hyperpigmentation from acne scaring, and my pores have reduced in size. And, although it requires you to the product over dry skin, I do not find it abrasive at all. And after rinsing the product off, it leaves your skin looking radiant as ever.
This product is worth every penny :)

I have tried countless exfoliants with minimal success. Most products leave my skin feeling irritated and cause me to break out. After trying a sample of this product, I was hooked. The polymer beads are incredibly gentle on the skin. I did not experience any redness or irritation following use - which is quite unusual for me - and my skin looked and felt smoother after a few uses. The price seems a bit steep, but I am quite satisfied with the results.

I've had this product for a while and it is excellent at removing dry skin patches, and making your skin feel ultra smooth. I have to take one star off though because the packing makes it hard to dispense. It seems like after using it a couple times, the pump gets stuck in when you push down.

I found a sample of this in a drawer with a ton of samples I received over the holidays with all my purchases. I had run out of my Exfolikate and found this sample. To say I was amazed is an understatement. I have never had anything make my skin feel like this - it's quick, easy, and very effective. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't bother it at all. Great product I will continue using!

If you want skin as smooth as a baby's bottom, this is the product for you. I saw instant improvement in my skin's clarity and texture. My skin is extremely sensitive -- but reacts well with this treatment. It's really a great alternative to irritating scrubs I've tried to use in the past.

This product is amazing!! It leaves my skin silky smooth; my face is brighter and my dark spots have visibly diminished. I've been using this product for only two weeks and I can already see results!! I wouldn't recommend this product to someone with sensitive skin however, as it may be a little harsh. I have a little acne here and there and after I use this product those spots are a bit irritated (usually, the bit of irritation that I've experienced goes away within a couple of hours); besides that though, this product does everything the description says that it will do.

Quick Take: intensive, gentle
This works even better than the Retin-A my dermatologist prescribed. I've noticed the Retin-A usually takes several days for me to see anytime of exfoliating benefits and when it does, it makes my skin flake uncontrollably for about a week.
When I first used this, there was a burning sensation that scared me but this is surprisingly gentle! You get instant peeling effects and helped the blemishes that I have fade in just a couple of days. Highly recommend!
