Quick Take: hydrating
I started using this a few months ago as I had some terrible breakouts that left my face quite scarred.
Yes I was skeptical at first as with most products but was desperate to try to fade those ugly spots.
This serum is silky and hydrating, a little goes a long way and it sits well under makeup. I use about half a pea size is good enough for my face (under my moisturizer) twice a day.
The results were quite surprising. I found that within a week that my scars had faded noticeably. My skin improved so much that I didn't need to use it for a while but recently started again after another breakout and again like the results.
The reason for only four stars is that it's quite pricey even though it lasts a long time for one tube.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I bought this product to clear up my acne scars from previous breakouts. My scars weren't too bad, but still noticeable without makeup. I used Bright Expert every morning and night until I finished the tube (lasted me 2 months). Although they weren't life changing, I did see results. The scars that were light to begin with were gone, while the darker ones slightly faded. Overall, my complexion looks more even and healthy. The product is velvety smooth and actually quite moisturizing. In blends in easily and I find I can use less moisturizer on top. Someone with oily/combo skin could probably use it as just a moisturizer. There is also no unpleasant scent. Overall , I am pleased with the product but I don't think it is something to get hyped up about. If you are looking for dramatic and fast results, this is not the product for you.

An OK Product...

I'm a big fan of Lancome, but this product was just OK. It was very expensive to have done very little at correcting dark spots. My complexion is generally even-toned with occasional acne marks and scarring that are light. I've used almost the entire tube religiously day and night underneath my moisturizer to see very little difference in my discolorations. I'm a skincare junky, so I know there are other spot correctors out there that work much better at this price. The scent is pleasant and the texture of this treatment glides on and absorbs well which is the basis of my three stars. If you're looking for dramatic results, I recommend you continue shopping.

Quick Take: smoothing
I love lancôme! This definitely smoothed out my skin and brightened it. I have some acne scars on my cheeks and without makeup I don't feel like the look any lighter but I will say with makeup they do seemed more covered. Concealer is still necessary though. Only 3 stars because of the price and because I bought it with the intention of correcting dark spots and I don't feel it did...

I started using this truly just because it came as a freebie. I had just broken out and my face was still red and had terrible spots on it.
After using it for a week, the spots are definitely dissapearing. Its great!
I am a lancome believer and i use the genifique and moisturizer too but I love this product!

Quick Take: good as a spot treatment
I received this as a sample and have since fallen in love. It not only gets rid of my dark spots but it also gives my face a beautiful glow! I give this a 4 because the price is just outrageous but other than that I love it!

After reading the reviews of this product, I thought I would pay a little more than I was originally planning to get something that seemed like a sure thing. What a waste!! The product is silky and smells lovely but it does not lighten or correct dark spots. I have been using the product daily for 3 months and seen no change. Save your money!

I'm normally a big fan of Lancome products but this one did very little to lighten my old age dark spots. I used it religiously for 10 weeks and there is little difference, not nearly what I expected. The spots are still there but they are a tiny bit lighter. Not worth it. Won't buy again.

Quick Take: good as a spot treatment, irritated my skin
I received a large sample of this and used it for a month or so on a brown spot on my temple. I did notice a lightening of the spot, but unfortunately the product broke my skin out in fairly large zits! There must be an ingredient in this product that doesn't agree with my skin, which is sensitive and oily. But, as I said it does seem to fade spots.

About a month & 1/2 ago I received a sample of this treatment, was unbeleivable but true!!! the old spots I have on my face due from sun exposure are gone!!! I recommend 100% this product!!

Quick Take: gentle formula, good as a spot treatment, or all over you face it's so light.
I am very fair skinned and have lived in Fl for the last 9 years. I had never been a sun worshipper ever in my life but in the last few years here I have been getting some sun damage on my face with dark spots. Lancome had a similar product years ago that simply did not work so I was hesitant to try this. I have to say it really does work! It's very light and within a few weeks my skin is even toned and smooth. I highly recommend this product.
