i got a sample of this which lasted about 3 good uses and its just okay. on all days it left my skin with a dewy finish. it smells nice but i did not prolong my makeup. it does leave my skin soft and fresh feeling, but its not worth the money.

This stuff might protect the skin, but it does not protect your makeup. One day I just went ahead and did a test, i put full makeup on both my eyes and sprayed the left sid eof my face and not the right. my left side was actually more messed up than my right 2 hours later. might be good for foundation and, blush, powders and concealer but if you're having trouble keeping eye make up on this is NOT the product for you.

Must Have For Oily Skin

Because I have very very very oily skin, I am always in search of a product to help my makeup last all day. This is now a part of my everyday regimen. If I use this my makeup lasts all work day and into the night without budging, except for my eyeshadow will need a little touch up in the early evening.

Judging by the reviews, I thought this was going to be some great product that kept my make up set. It does nothing it says it will do. My make up does not last any longer than it usually does (I use high end make up and primer). The tips also said to spray on a cloth and blot on your face to refresh your make up, which did not work for me. I paid a lot of money for this, and I would never buy it again.

Great product if you have oily skin

Quick Take: fast-absorbing
Ok so the product itself if you've been struggling with your face being an oily mess after an hour or so of applying your makeup does not work on it's own.... That being said here's what I found that actually works for me it's expensive but for once in my life my skin has actually changed from being oily and when I mean oily I'm not kidding blotting every half hour to an hour... Here's what I use: REN cleanser for oily skin, REN detox mask, REN moisturizer for oily skin, Smashbox primer (green).... Then I put my normal makeup on and I then finish with this spray... So far it's been working great I've never seen my skin so "normal" not dry not oily just normal! Yes I do have to maybe touch up my Tzone once a day but that's it!!!! Believe me I've tried pretty much anything from drugstore products to high end and this is the only routine I found that works for me. I did buy the De Slick product from Urban Decay once you've fix your skin issue both products are great the only thing I've heard about this one that might be more appealing to us women is that it's suppose to protect you from damaged caused by pollution and other things of the sort. Hope this review helps some of you ladies out there looking to have better looking skin and control oil :) :)

DO NOT use if you have oily skin. You will look like a big grease ball a few hours after spraying on this product. Urban decay has way better make up setting sprays.

I have read a lot of reviews from people who obviously do now have the knowledge to be talking bad about this product. First off this is a setting spray that you need to hold several inches away from your face, spritz and wait for it to dry. I feel that if everyone used it CORRECTLY there would be no negative comments.

I work all day and have oily skin. I used to have to constantly blot and touch up my make up. With this product I can look fresh and dewy all day! It is worth the money and is a must have product. You won't be disappointed. You can easily go from morning to night with one application of make up. Just spray in top of foundation and finish! Perfect!

I was extremely skeptical and purchased the small size. Have used it twice now and I think it does work. You do need to hold it several inches from your face, though, to avoid stickiness and to get it spread wide and thinly. I like it.

I've been experimenting with different products to help make my wedding makeup last on the big day, and I've found a number of good products and some bad. This one was mostly in the middle. The good ol' drag tip of using hairspray works better.

It didn't do what is described. It doesn't set makeup on my face at all. It just feels like hairspray on the face -- sticky -- and it's hard to apply and my eye makeup immediately smudges upon applying this. Do not recommend.

Quick Take: fast-absorbing
I've read several of the reviews on here regarding this product. Often times, I don't feel the reviews do a product justice, as the negatives are sometimes attributed to user knowledge about the correct usage of the product. I've used about a handful of make-up setting sprays, and this one is the best I've come across. The sprayer does not distribute a "fine" mist, but it is by no means akin to using a fire hose. I actually like that the mist is thicker, as it means that I have to use less of the product, and it gives my skin more of a dewy look. I don't blot or anything. I simply spray and patiently wait for it to dry...which doesn't take long. It appears to last through the day, and truly does hold my make-up in place. No complaints, and I will continue to purchase.
