Smells Like Vinegar!!

Quick Take: smelly
I am a female and I bought this for myself to use as an astringent. But honestly, I don't know how well this stuff performs because I only used it 3-4 times before returning it because... it smells very stongly of VINEGAR, which is one of the worst smells to me! I couldn't put up with it, so it had to go back. I have a sensative nose, but even my bf agreed with me and he didn't want to use it either. I really wanted to love this. I liked that it contained salicylic acid, lactic acid, and a bunch of other ingredients I was looking for. Very disappointed :/

Quick Take: soothing
This is not only for the guys; I have been using this after getting waxed and it is fabulous for the prevention of ingrown hairs. I have yet to find anything that works better.

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas- he gets really bad ingrown hair, esp. on his neck. Told him that IF he used it every day, it should help....and it does! He noticed an immediate difference in the quality of his shave (closer shave, and fewer ingrown hairs). He did notice that it made him break out initially, but not terribly.

Quick Take: cooling, soothing
I am a female with sensitive, pale skin, and I get razor burn and ingrown hairs like nobody's business. This is far and away the best treatment I have ever used. Well worth the price, as you do not have to use a lot to see results. A lot of people complain about the smell, but to me, it has no scent. Certainly does not smell as bad as all natural witch hazel, which I also use. I never write reviews for products, but this one is just too good.

Quick Take: easy to use
Bought this for my boyfriend. I think it works, he is unsure. The problem is I told him to use it every time after he shaves but he is too lazy so he only uses it sometimes. When he does the results are great.

Great for Ingrown Hairs and Toning Face

I love this stuff. I originally bought it for my bikini line because of the green tree and salicylic acid combination. My esthetician recommends those ingredients to keep ingrowns away. And it seems to works great down there. Then I tried using it on my face if I noticed a pimple coming. It worked really well at clearing it up before it got too big and my face would look great the next day. Now I use this almost daily on my face after washing and every few days on my bikini line. I'd recommend it. I have very sensitive skin and lots of products dry me out or break me out. At once a day, this does neither. Some other reviewers have disliked the odor but really, I don't seem to notice it too much. A little right after I put it on but it doesn't bother me any.

This stuff is wonderful! I would recommend it. I've used Proactive and every other product out there to clear up the occasional pimple...and then it seems to come back in the same place. This product is wonderful...bee stings, cuts, and pimples...and seems to keep them from reoccurring.

I can't believe the grime that is on the pad after using the Jack Black cleanser. Razor bumps seam to have disappeared as that is the main reason for purchasing this product. It does not burn like other face cleansers.

I got this along with the art of shaving sandalwood travel size kit. So far he's really enjoyed this. He said it was pretty drying which is good b/c he's a little on the oily side. He also said when he uses it, he can feel it exposing the hairs that are underneath his skin. Good stuff--get it if your boyfriend has trouble with coarse, ingrown hair.

Very Astringent, but foul smelling

A very effective toner. Really good at keeping pores clear and sweeping away dead skin cells. Probably too drying to use everyday unless you have extremely oily skin or active acne.
Works great as an drying spot treatment for an occasional pimple. Dip a Q-Tip in and apply on any spots.
My biggest problem with this product is the smell. Although it only contains plant-based ingredients, it's quite unpleasant. And it lingers on your skin for minutes after application. I would describe the odor as a mix of witch hazel, gasoline, and spoiled meat. I'll definitely try other mens line toners before buying this again.

I've been buying my husband Jack Black products over the past few weeks to encourage him to take care of his 47 year old skin. He has really surprised me by trying everything I've bought for him and has liked most of the products. This is one of the products that he really likes. He uses it as an aftershave. He has oily skin and still fights blackheads and breakouts even at age 47. The salicylic acid has diminished his blackheads immensely and has kept him from breaking out. He says that this treatment feels great when he applies just after shaving--it calms his skin and doesn't burn like his drugstore brand aftershave. He and I can both tell a big difference in the healthy look of his skin since he's been using Jack Black's products. This 3-in-1 treatment is one of his favorites.
