Quick Take: cooling
The product, for the most part, does what it says. It's been keeping that sheen I find in my t-zone in the afternoon, at bay. That said, I'm not a fan of the container. I would prefer a pump for better control of how much product I use.

Controls oil well, but powdery

I bought this for the boy and he uses it daily. He has oily skin and this product seems to help control it, but after application there are some powdery flakes that appear. The more you try to get it off, the more they appear.
I would recommend this to other people, and would buy again.

I used to have extremely oily skin when I was younger , now time has changed my skin to dry and combi, I used this product years ago and it really did a good job keeping my face from producing excessive amount of oil. Probably the only product that did it. However , it over dried my skin as well, skin felt very flaky and dry after use. I recommend this to people who has very oily skin.

Quick Take: matte then greasy
I'm a woman, and this didn't work well on me at all. It started out matte, but within 1/2 an hour I was greasier than usual. I didn't do anything differently than usual, just used this product, so my conclusion is that it does not work.

This product keeps skin look shine free for about a couple hours. So far nothing else I've used including the Lab series oil control cream works better. Does leave white residue If one is not carefu,l as in uses too much or not rubbing in product enough or If it gets in you beard. (I go for the clean shaven look so I don't have much of the latter problem)
It's definitely worth a shot

White marks

My boyfriend did like this, but if he doesnt shave when using this, he gets white marks by his whiskers from the oil-adsorbing ingredients in here. He has a thicker beard, so it's not exactly subtle. If your guy doesnt shave everyday, this might not be the moisturizer for him. Otherwise, it does do oil control better than your average moisturizer and it feels lightweight yet moisturizing.

Quick Take: ineffective, oily, causes breakouts
This product just doesn't work. I used it once a day in place of my moisturizer, and after 3-4 hours, my face was just as oily as if I had not used the product. Worse, after about 2 weeks of use, my face had a horrible breakout, and it's been a devil to control.

My nose is just a oil producing mine, bought it after the mostly positive reviews on this site. With that being said for me it works pretty good not great. just a small dab on the fingertip goes a long way. It does (for me at least) leaves some white flakiness , so i put some JB moisturizer over that, im not sure if that lessens the effectiveness of the oil control lotion .

My husband really likes this product. Until recently he had to use the wipes the control the oil. This product allows him to feel comfortable all day without having to carry wipes and keepnthem concealed from everyone. I'd buy again.

I have really oily skin and by far this has been the best product i've found to keep it under control. Other products have only worked for an hour or so, but this lasts my entire work day. I've been really happy with the entire Jack Black product line.

Quick Take: soothing, matte, calming
i have really oily skin/acne prone skin. my skin will be oily within an hour after washing. this will keep my skin matte for HOURS and i will only need to use an oil blotting sheet maybe once near the end of the day depending on if i was sweating..
this stuff is too drying to put on alone, so i put this on then a sunscreen over it which makes it perfect for day time without getting greasy. if i go out at night, i dab some argan oil on my face for a base then put this over to get that matte finish and prevent new oil. WORKS GREAT!!
packed with vitamins A,C,E and other ingredients that relieve redness and calm the skin. which is great for a moisturizer you wear everyday.

Quick Take: oil control without drying
I've tried lots of oil control products over the years - I have a very oily T zone. This stuff works the longest of anything I've ever used, without drying my skin. The best part? The price. And it only takes a very small amount. More is not better, it will leave a white film, so just use a dab. This stuff is worth every penny and lasts forever!

I read some women using this because it works great for oil control. Well the oil control was okay but it does not do so well under wear makeup. Sort of gives a white chalky tint.
