I use this with glo-minerals powder. It takes the place of a moisturizer and leaves my skin with a beautiful glow. I put 2 layers on for coverage and it's still light. I also use it when I'm at the beach for sun protection on my face. The Tahitian Tan gives nice natural bronze tint

According to the Skin Deep Cosmetic database, this tinted moisturizer scores very hazardous (8 in the scale of 1-10) for several ingredients.
I used to be fan of LORAC for long time, but as I became aware of the ingredients' consequences, I totally stopped using any of her products. I've noticed too, that she is coming up with non-paraben, non-synthetic fragrance's ones which I might try.

This is a great tinted moisturizer for those who ACTUALLY want a tinted moisturizer without full coverage. No sparkles in this either.
This is very moisturizing so would be perfect for people with dry skin.

I love the LORAC ProtecTINT moisturizer. I have extremely sensitive skin and have had a hard time finding a product that suits my needs... The only other moisturizer that doesn't make me break out is Clinique's, but I feel like my face is overly oily. Lorac is very lightweight but blends well with my skin color. It is great at covering small blemishes and imperfections in my skin. Love it!

My Summer Tinted Moisturizer

I bought this product a few weeks ago and have been pretty happy with the results. I wanted sheer, barely-there coverage, which is exactly what this is, and I bought the shade In the Buff, which is great for my light skin with yellow undertones. My only complaint is the finish. I have dry skin, so I thought the slight dewy finish that some people mentioned would be fine for me, but after a few hours, even with powder over it, the shine comes out and looks more oily than dewy. As long as I touch up my powder, this is a great lightweight product, and the SPF makes it great for summer. Overall, I'm pleased with this product.

first of all i really wanted to love this product. the color fair matched my face color beautifully, but once applied, my face looked very oily. it was indeed a moisturizer and no complaints with that. i believe now that i should have searched for a "matte" tinted moisturizer so it really is not the products fault. my skin is actually normal to dry these days and the oily face it created was not flattering on me. i looked like i needed a shower!*lol* this product may not contain oil but it does have ingredients that create the moist and dewy look that just looked oily on me. it did have a good amount of coverage but the shine took away from it's good qualities for me. i'm still on the hunt for another tinted moisturizer, in matte finish this time, because i love the concept.

I love this product! Summer is the perfect time for me to forgo thick foundations and just let my skin look more natural. This tinted moisturizer has the consistency of almost a mousse: light and airy, yet still rich. It gives my skin a slight dewy sheen. My favorite part is that it is SPF 30; most others are only 15 or 20 and in AZ, I need something stronger. The only negative is that it wears off by the end of the day, so I end up reapplying if I go out. Other than that, it is a fantastic moisturizer that I keep coming back to every summer!

Yes, it has SPF for UVB, but nothng for UVA, the ones that create wrinkles. WHY? I will stick with Tarte Smooth operater, forget the quest for something more than SPF 20 in a TM. What a letdown.

This is a lovely tinted moisturizer. I absolutely love that it has SPF 30. It is oil-free, but doesn't mattify skin. It provides sheer, light coverage. I liked this, but ended up instead getting Josie Maran's tinted moisturizer, which provided a little more coverage.

I use this over my regular sunscreen for extra spf (i use retin-A and need lots of spf) and a little coverage. it is very sheer and lightly moisturizing. chose tawny temptress shade. when i need more coverage i blend it with foundation.

This product gives me a look that is refreshing ... regular foundation and powders just sunk into my lines & wrinkles ... this goes on so smooth and lightweight but gives me perfect coverage ... I'm 53 and everyone has told me I look way younger now ... love it!!

It maybe because I have very fair skin, so I couldn't see a difference, but this did absolutely nothing to be skin. It didn't coverup, enhance, or moisturize my skin. All it did was give my a "shin," I mean I was as oily as a greased pan. All I can rave about it is that its a really good sunscreen.

It is ever so slightly glowy, and it makes my skin look great. It has 30 SPF, which is great as I want to look young when I'm 80 and sun-damage is the enemy, kids!
The only real problem is it isn't very enduring. I don't set it, though, so it might not be a problem if you use a powder.

it really is lightweight and i love the way it makes my skin feels soft. im surprised my face doesnt get oily after a few hours because usually it does.
when im in a hurry i wear it alone with quick swipe of blush. when i have a little time i fill in my brows and use benetin's highlighter on my brows and my cupid's bow. <3 and it has spf!
