Great for nights out on the town! it gives you a very shimmery look, so if thats what your going for this is the product for you! it contains four colors that really work together and compliment eachother. the product actually talks to you!! it walks you through the steps needed to take to make your eyes fabulously smokey!

Quick Take: not worth the money.
this product is eh. especially for the price. the 2 lighter shades are too frosty, andthe black doesnt go on too smoothly. the only one i liked was the dark grey. its too shimmery. not good for a true smokey look in my opinion, i would recomend buying seperate eyeshadows over buying a "palatte". (p.s. the talking part was rediculous.)

The colors look beautiful in the pallet, but they were very high frost. If you like that in a shadow, this pallet is for you - it was not for me.

Love It!!! I had actually been looking for a good smokey eye palate for along time and have tried so many. I saw this one used on a makeover show on tv and thought I would give it a try. The colors all work together and blend so nicely. It isn't too dark at all that I wear this day and night. Highly recommended!

Quick Take: disappointing!
Should have tried it in the store. I found the shadows to be way to powdery and sparkly and difficult to apply. I returned it. The "talking' part is a total gimmick, very silly.

I love this eyeshadow pallete because it has the basic colors for a simle night-out smokey eye. it also tells you where to put each shade on the labels and it talks to you when you press the button inside. This is good for people who are unsure of how to do a smokey eye.

Quick Take: good value, portable, rich color
I have two of these palettes from Stila. One is in the green's family and this one in grey's I just purchased. I love the texture and depth of Stila's colors and these are no exception. They go on nicely and color can be built up to a truly smokey look. Very nice! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I find the two lighter colors are not perfect for my skin tone, but likely look great on everyone else.

I purchased this as a gift for my sister. It's a great set and a great value. The colors were not as highly pigmented as my smashbox smokebox but were still nice and high quality. I liked that this set allows for an 'everyday smoky eye' as well as a more dressy and over the top smoky eye. The lid colors are also great by themselves for office wear. Overall a good solid product. We both really liked the portability of it since we travel alot.

GREAT for smoky eye! I love all of the colors and the fact that the eye shadow talks explaining exactly how to get the perfect look! The colors are very pigmented and look even better when applied wet. Only small downside was the it flaked a little below the eyes when I first applied, but once it was on it lasted all day and night!

Sexy Smokey!- 12.18.09

I bought this set in "platinum", the colors seemed more shimmery than the original smoky eye set. I tried it on my hand in the store, and the colors seemed to blend well together and give a good silvery/gray/lilac shade. I don't wear dark eye makeup, but wanted the smokey eye look for Christmas/Holiday season for events when I'm a little more dressy. (Usually I'm in scrubs.. I'm a nurse hence not usually wearing alot of makeup!) I tried this today and it looks really nice. I didn't put it on too dark for fear of over-doing the look, but the colors looked great. I think with a little use and practice I could wear it a tad darker and would still look good. But I do have to layer the colors a few times to get a decent shade on, which is good for me, b/c I didn't want it too dark, but if someone wanted a darker smokey then this probably isn't for them. I like the way it looked for me, and my husband complimented it as well. (before this when I tried to do smoky with some brown/golds he did not like it at all!!) So that's a + for his approval! :) I didn't use the talking part, I just read the little handout that came with it first.

I don't use the talking portion of this kit, but I do like that it tells you what colors go where and has a little guide that shows you how to put what on where. The shadow lasts very well and I intend to buy the rest of the kits.

this is the cheapest eyeshadow it doesnt stay on your eyes and you have to pack it on, even when packed on it wears off in 30 mins and vocie is so low and mumbling you cant hear what it says

stila has some good quality eyeshadows, but the color did not turn out how I thoguht it would. It was supposed to be the original grey smokey color but instead it turned out to be more of a brownish color. IT did not look good on. I ended up having to take it back. Never again will I purchase a stila eye pallet but I do admit it was a good price.
