Quick Take: nice for a night eye balm/moisturizer
Sooo, I decided i needed an eye balm, didn't need any anti-aging (im 23 with good genes) but still needed a great moisturizer. I researched this one and purchased it the next day. I must say, I LOVE IT! For those of you who put too much on, YES it will roll and clump, remember, a little goes a lonnng way! I use it as a night eye balm, feels great and doesn't clog my pores :) been using it for 2 weeks now and im hooked! good luck Ladies!

Quick Take: waxy
this product leaves a weird residue after you apply it and throughout the day it actually peels off. i was told i could wear it under a concealer but there is no way this stuff is way too waxy.

This Ultra Rich Eye Balm came highly recommended by the Sephora associate, and it really delivers. It feels very light, and absorbs quickly, despite its 'ultra rich' name. I'm delighted it contains shea butter for added oomph. I'm seeing a definite improvement in my eye area.

I bought my first jar of this after a skin reaction left my eye skin dry and cracked - This was a miracle worker! I have dry eye area skin and this kept it soft and hydrated, making makeup application so much easier. I use it morning and night and find it soaks in fairly quickly and sits well under under-eye concealer. I am on my second jar now (after attempting a light eye cream and being left dry again) and I just love it!

I used to wear this eye balm mostly at night but sometimes in the day and I have dry and sensitive eyelids so even though I would put this on it wouldn't do anything for me. After applying it my eyelids would still be flaky and the cream was kinda heavy on my skin.

I keep reading that people use this under their makeup and are getting poor results. You aren't supposed to use this under makeup. It is a stand alone eye cream, best used at night. This is the best eye product I have ever used. I have sensitive skin and any time my eyes become irritated, this heals them in a day or two. It is nourishing and a great product to keep eyes hydrated and a preventative aging cream.

Im fair skinned and under my eyes get very irritated from wearing dark eye circle corrector. Using this definitely helped and I like it a lot. The only problem is that sometimes when i start to sweat it peels off or balls up.

This eye cream moisturizes my eye area like no other. Everytime I attempt to try something else, I come back to this eye cream. In my opinion, this eye crease SHOULD NOT be worn under make-up as it is a balm-like consistency. I would recommend using this at night.

This products doesn't seem to penetrate/absorb into the skin. It just leaves this bizzare film that eventually clumps your foundation. This is the only product that I will never buy again from L'occitane.
Anyhow, I use this as a lip balm instead...

I had high hopes for this product as I love L'Occitane products in general. But alas, I was very disappointed. It has a nice smooth feeling when you apply but kind of sits on top of your skin instead of getting absorbed. As a result, when I put on a makeup, I had little clumps of makeup+eye cream rolling around my eyes - which is pretty gross. But worst of all, my lines and dark circles got worse. I wouldn't recommend this at all. I think for the price you can find better eye creams in the market.

I typically use anti-aging eye creams but my eyes are so dry this winter that I needed something much more moisturizing at night. I adore this eye cream! It feels like a decadent soufflé and I look forward to using it every night. It has drastically reduced the dryness around my eyes. I wear a different eye cream (anti-aging/spf) during the day but I have successfully tried Ultra Rich Eye Balm during the day as well and didn’t have any problems.

I use a different, expensive anti aging product under my eyes and put this on my upper lid.It does not cause any irritation and it helps to to prevent my lids from looking dry and old.

I use peptide rich anti-aging eye cream and use this because I need a little more hydration in winter to lock in the moisture

This eye balm does nothing that it's supposed to. I had high hopes for this product since I love L'Occitane's hand cream so much, but this cream just doesn't absorb into the skin. The only way to possibly use this is at night, since like other reviews say, it rubs off in clumps. To put makeup over this makes you look ridiculous and even more dry than without it. I'm not too hard to please but this product is just unacceptable to sell at Sephora.
