i didn't notice much foaming and i didn't feel like it cleaned my face. i used a toner and cotton pad after washing my face with this wash & a washcloth and my face was still dirty. don't recommend

This soap will make you feel rich using it CUZ it just feels like quality soap. Don't let the price stop you from getting it CUZ you honestly only need a pea size and your whole face will get very creamy and foamy with literally a pea size so the soap will last you forever . I love everything about this soap

I have been using this cleanser for over 20 years. I love it. A small amount goes a long way. I wipe it off with warm water and a washcloth. My skin always feels clean, soft and smooth. I also use the buff brush once or twice a week with it to help slough off dead skin. I am 53 and people always tell me I look like I'm in my thirties. I can honestly say I don't have many wrinkles at all. Thanks Shiseido!

My sister swears by Shiseido so I tried this cleanser. It made my skin feel rubbery & weird. I took a cotton ball and put some alcohol on it. I rubbed it down my cheek & sure enough foundation was on the cotton ball. Very disappointed. So I returned it

Luxurious Cleansing Foam

This is my second purchase of this creamy cleansing foam. While the price point may seem high, the tube can last 6 months when used appropriately, All it takes is a very small amount and it is plenty to wash your face...be prepared to feel pampered. Your skin is gently buffed and will feel smooth and ready for you products. I am in love with this cleansing foam - never before has a face wash product made me feel as if I am doing something so luxurious for myself. I cannot recommend this enough.

Absolutely am in love with this rich and creamy face wash. It leaves me feeling so clean at the end of the day but not dry like other foaming face washes I have used in the past. Highly reccommended and well worth the money.

So I admit it - splurged on the $55 cleanser that Shiseido offers and I thought it was good. It was worth the money and lasted 6 months because you just need a smidgen and if foams like crazy. This cleanser is not only cheaper, but leaves my skin incredibly soft!!! It is way better. I LOVE IT. PLUS you just need about 1/2 a dime size amount. Trust me, just like the $55 cleanser - this is expensive, but it will last at least 5 months.

I absolutely LOVE this facial wash! It smells terrific and leaves my skin feeling very soft. And you only need a pinky nail sized amount! I have dry skin and it works wonderfully!

Quick Take: foamy, rich
As I get older I realize there are things you shouldn't skimp on-- good shoes and skincare are two that spring to mind. I, like most women, started with Noxema as a girl, moved on to Clinique in college, and I think there was something inevitable about Shiseido. I love this foam-- it's rich and luxurious, it cleans beautifully, and a tiny bit goes a very long way. To me it's well worth paying the extra money if it's a product not full of water and fillers and whatever else, and lasts forever. The scent is a bit perfume-y, but it doesn't bother me at all. I'm also trying to go paraben-free, so I was glad when I saw Shiseido is starting to formulate more products without them.

Don't waste your money

It did not remove my foundation & powder. It left my skin feeling dry & like rubber. It had a horrible floral perfume smell.Not sure if I can return it but I hope I can because it's wasted money.

I have been using Shiseido products for a few years now. When money has been tight, I have had to purchase inferior products which I will not do anymore. This cleanser does the trick and keeps my skin feeling soft and nourished. Will save my pennies to make sure I can afford it.

My mom has used the old packaging(more than one tube of course) for quite a few years now, but suddenly the packaging has changed and when she held it in her hand, she said that there is less product for the same price now.

my face is extremely dry with oily patches and extremely sensitive. I've tried many high end and expensive products. While they clean adn smell great, I wasn't satisfied. I've been using this product for a week now and I love it. You only need the smallest amount to get full foamy coverage. The scent is very pleasant and mild and wears off just after drying your face. My skin really feels clean and if I'm not mistaking, I think it's gently working on both the dry and oily areas of my face. Great on my sensitivity also as I don't itch as I usually do with ALL other products I've used. For the price i've paid and considering the amount used daily, it's a great savings!
