I THINK THE MOST SHISEIDO FOAM CLEASING PRODUCTS MAKE LOTS FORM EVEN WITH A TINY AMOUNT AND GIVES CLEAN FEELING AFTER WASHED. IT GOT SOME EXFOLIATING EFFECT, BUT YOU CAN IGNORE IT, IT DOESN'T TOUCH YOUR SKIN BECAUSE THE FOAM IS SO RICH.

It's good for sensitive skin

I have very sensitive skin, it's frustrating to look for a new skin care every 2 years for me, most foaming face wash won't work for sensitive skin, but this is the one, and better price compare to caudalie instant foaming wash.but I'm in love with Caudalie, cuz they have awesome skin care products(just little price), but it worth the money

After the rave reviews of this product, I went to Sephora for a sample and the sales gal went on and on about how great it was. I have fair skin, sensitive too. After 3 days of this, my skin was bright red and raw feeling with 3 large pimples on my forehead - I dont ever break out there. The smell is also really strong, plus even though I could hear the "squeaky clean", I felt like I had a film on my face. Oh well, not for me I guess.

Quick Take: foamy, pleasant scent
You only need about half a dime-sized drop in order to get a really good lather going. It has a light, pleasant smell that isn't overpowering. I follow this up with the Hydro-Balancing Softener, Regular Night Moisture Recharge and the Enriched Night Moisture Recharge. Although the entire The Skincare set can be a little pricey, I feel that it's worth it. You get what you pay for...

I got this as a sample and used it during my travel. This mousse instantly foams up and your face is left squeaky clean. It doesn't have any residue afterwards. I'm currently using Fresh Soy Cleanser but now I'm thinking of switching.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this cleansing foam since I have never used Shiseido anything... but WOW! this gets super foamy and takes all of my makeup off really well without making my face feel stripped. It was literally squeeky clean but not the painful stripped kind of clean. Very gentle on my sensitive skin and did not make me red or itchy even tho it cleansed so well. I will continue to buy for sure!

I didn't expect to see such a difference just by changing the cleanser I used but WOW! My face was so super soft after just one use! Seriously considering getting the starter kit. I also used this with my clarisonic. The smell is not too strong and a little goes a long way! Try this out!

I bought the cleanser out of whim when I was shopping at Sephora one day like 3 years ago. I always heard good things about Shiseido, so I decided to try this one. I love the little beads that are gentle enough for everyday scrub. Also, it's really foamy and a little pea-size amount is more than enough for the whole face. I used two of these already and I just bought my third one.

I love this face wash! Before I used it, I had no idea what, 'makes makeup melt like butter' meant, but after using this for the first time, it suddenly became clear what that means exactly. It is a bit pricey in Canada, $38, but it lasts a long time since you only need a very tiny amount, but whenever I go to the states, I have a tendency to grab a bottle for $25.50. I use it with my Clarisonic, and it foams up very nicely.
I used to be the kind of person who bought a new type of face wash every time I needed a new one, but this one is so good I don't even want to waste my time on other face washes.
My mum always tells me I'm 'too young' to be using this skincare line, but I've adopted the entire line, my skin has never looked this good ever.

I was first introduced to "The SkinCare" line when I purchased the sample pack that came with a toner, face wash, and day cream with spf. With this purchase, I received a complimentary sample of the Purifying Cleansing Foam. From then on, I am hooked!
They have another cleanser that is very similar that is in the same line, the "Extra- gentle" cleanser. I realized what differentiates these two is that the Purifying Cleanser has these red, little beads (granules) that dissolve onto your face, exfoliating some dead skin. These beads are not abundant, but it is present.
Overall, I continue using this face wash due to the effect it leaves after its use. I only use a pinch as it tends to get foam. Your face is extremely soft with a noticeable difference.

I love this cleanser. My make-up removal is out for weeks and I am so busy to go to buy a new one. This cleanser save my days. I have water proof make-up and it totally remove all of my make-up and purify my skin without dehydrate it. It surprises me. However, I must be very be careful with this product because it burns when contact to eyes. I absolutely give it five star.

I received this as one of my 3 deluxe samples and was amazed at the generous 2 oz size. Thats much better than even the 100 pt beauty insider gifts!
This face wash is extremely concentrated- you really only need the tiniest bit. It is thick, creamy and gentle and feels luxurious. There does appear to be some exfoliating beads inside but I can't feel them. The scent is very mild and reminds me of a plain soap.
The best thng about this cleanser is that it makes your face SQUEAKY clean. You will hear squeaks! But it doesn't leave your skin feeling stripped which is great. Wonderful product.

Favorite face wash for the past 5 years

I've used this face wash for over 5 years. It works really well. You only need a small pea size each time so you can make it last awhile. It removes waterproof makeup as well, though sometimes I find that I need to apply the cleanser twice to fully remove my waterproof mascara.

Cleared Husband's Rosacea!

Quick Take: cleansing, great scent
Bought this and the Skincare daytime moisturizer w/ SPF 15 for my husband to get him on a better skincare regimen. The regimen has cleared his rosacea and has minimized flare-ups. He has oily skin so the purifying/regular (rather than enriched) formula works well for him. He absolutely loves it and asks me to order more when he's running low, which is great because I don't have to nag him to take better care of his skin!
