Not for my oily skin and average toner

Quick Take: refreshing, non-drying
This toner combined with the Pureness moisturizer feels lovely at first, but my skin became so oily with it I couldn't use it during the day. I tried the toner without the moisturizer and vice-versa with the same result. I returned both items.

Similar to the Pureness makeup removing cloths. The cloths do nothing for removing makeup just like this toner does nothing for balancing the ph of your skin.

Quick Take: refreshing, acne treating, non-drying, doesn't sting
I was a little skeptical just because similar products have always stung and irritated my skin but this product was surprisingly calming and didn't bother me at all. I am extremely oily and acne prone and have been fighting acne since puberty. I use this product along with the mattifying moisturizer and deep foaming cleanser and I can't speak highly enough

Quick Take: easy to use, good for sensitivity
I love this toner, it is alcohol free so it does not irritate my sensitive oily skin. After trying many other toners this is my go to.

I purchased this whole line of products. I don't normally use a toner so i can't compare it to others, but I will say that this STUNG when I put it on after my shower. It had a very strong scent too. My face was oilier than usual (could have been the moisturizer too), so I don't think it helped with that at all.

I decided to go on sephora online to find a new toner that wouldn't dry out my skin. I had been using a drugstore brand (Dickinson's Witch Hazel) that was drying my skin out badly. I really am happy with purchasing this! It smells wonderful - it makes my skin super soft and hydrates it very well. Will purchase this again.

Best Non-Alcohol Toner

After years of staying away from toners, I began my search for the perfect toner for my skin. Previously, the only toners I used contained alcohol which irritated my skin. That was my main reason I stayed away from toners.
I'd say I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin.
First, I love the packaging and design of the product. The only thing I wish Shiseido would do is make a larger version! I use this after cleansing/showering. On face, neck and ears (morning, afternoon [after work], and night time). I'd say a bottle will last me a month.
Second, in love with the smell of the product! Ultra clean and goes on my skin like silk. I recommend using a cotton square. Three pumps on the cotton square and work all over face, neck, etc. Let your skin soak in the product before placing other products (i.e. moisturizers, serums, etc). The product will leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed. It wakes your skin up, especially in the morning.
Finally, your skin will thank you for it! No alcohol means no stinging or burning. For those who have oily skin, I would follow this product with La Mer's Oil Absorbing Lotion as a moisturizer.
Reason why I gave 4/5 stars? Since I go through this product a lot, it can get pricey. Wish it was a little cheaper but not a big deal if you care about your skin. Also, wish it was sold in a larger bottle as I stated earlier.

Quick Take: smells great
I bought this when I bought the rest of the Pureness line because I was advised to do so. I really don't have any issues with the product. It smells good and makes my skin feel soft. It really doesn't even out my skin-tone or do anything about fine lines. I'm sure that maybe for someone with dryer skin it would be great, I'm just not sold.

While it does make my skin SO super soft and smooth looking, I don't know how well it shrinks my pores. Also been helping with oil control, but you may find that with any ordinary alcohol-free toner.

Perfect Toner!

My skin is oily/combination, acne-prone, and sensitive, and this toner works amazingly for me! The fact that it is alcohol-free is what makes it special I think, because it doesn't burn at all when applied, and it brings an instant feeling of comfort to my skin, which feels tight and dry right after I wash it. I would recommend this to anyone, regardless of what skin type you have! It's worth the money.
