These are a lifesaver. It makes my skin look matte, without piling on a pound of powder. It also doesn't remove the makeup underneath and lasts forever.

I've used drugstore (Clean & Clear) and nice (Bobbi Brown, MAC) blotting papers, and these totally blow them away! They're expensive but completely worth it. They are mattifying but not drying, and they don't remove makeup. The powder on the sheet has kaolin, so it absorbs oil and reduces shine in a way that papers alone cannot. I'm super oily and these are the only papers that work for me in the humid summers.

Can't live without these

I have combination/oily skin and I will not leave the house without these sheets. I really like the powdery finish it leaves on my skin and have never had problems with it removing any of my make up like other reviewers have mentioned. I also find these to be much easier to carry around than a powder compact.

My Combination Skin Oil Reducer

Quick Take: mattifying
I have used these from time to time on hot summer Texas days. My skin isn't oily year round, as I have combination skin, but when the heat kicks in, oils break out. In order to avoid having a shiny plastic looking face (with the foundation & powder put on in the a.m.), I use these sheets. I did breakout a couple times using these, but I think it was from using the powdery side of the sheet, which stuck to my oily patches. I read the Q&A section of this website, and it seems you're supposed to use the non-powdery side, as the powdered side absorbs and the traps the oil from the other side you're using! Think I just found the solution to my problem!

Quick Take: mattifying
These are great! I've used lots of different brands of oil blotting sheets and these are the best. I have really oily skin and usually use 1-2 throughout the workday, and even though they are $18.50, one pack will last me at least 4-5 months. Highly recommended if you have oily skin!!

Okay, so yes this does a great job of blotting off your oil and the packaging is another plus. However the price is a bit outrageous as they do work as well as any other oil blotters. Nothing too special. I'd rather get the drug store ones for a fraction of the price.

I have tried many different blotting papers and these are by far the best. They are a bit pricey but worth it. You don't get any of the powdery residue as some papers have. I am very oily and using one 2 times a day keeps me shine free.

I bought these little gems based on reviews, and boy am I glad I did! I have tried countless other blotting papers and wasted my money. These papers really work, and leave no residue on the skin. Not sure what makes these so special, but I am a customer for life! The plastic case they come in is a also a big plus.

This stuff is great. I use it and let my friends use it all the time. I live in Florida, so it's definitely a must to get rid of the oily junk around my nose and forehead. The carrying case is also very pretty and soft. Love everything about this product.

i have fairly oily skin. i don't think it's all that much oiler than the average oily skinned girl. i would need to use 6 of these a day to keep from looking oily. i do not feel refreshed after using.

Quick Take: effective
I have tried the boscia blotting papers and they absolutely do not compare! Whatever the oil-absorbing powder is coating these makes them MUCH more effecting than boscia's version. I have to use 2-3 of the boscia sheets in order to get the same blotting power and the effects of using these from Shiseido last much longer.

I keep a pack of these in my desk, car, and purse. I find I don't need to reapply powder during the day...not even once! I use these instead and end the day with no caked on powdery mess on my face. As a wonderful side benefit, these sheets help reduce my adult acne by removing oil and not just covering it up. I've tried other brands that are good, but pale by comparison. Thank you Shiseido!

These blotting papers are one of my favorite skincare/cosmetic products. I keep a pack in my car, another in my purse, and another in my desk. If you are like me and struggle with an oily area (mine is my chin and nose) try these. You will love them!! I apply loose powder when I'm putting on my makeup in the morning, and don't use it again for the rest of the day. The worst thing you can do to tackle excess oil throughout the day is to keep layering more powder on your face. YUCK! With these, your face will be as fresh as when you first put on your makeup. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
