Quick Take: refreshing, acne treating
Use this after I cleanse at night and in the morning after splashing my face with cold water. Gives the skin more luminosity and just feels good. This is one of those products that I would say is worth it, as toners in the past have been too harsh/not hydrating at all. This one could double as a hydrator in the summer with sunscreen on top. As I've started using this, my acne and acne scars have gone away/faded. Wouldn't accredit that solely to this product but think it helped.

A necessity!

I have very dehydrated skin (and let's face it, I'm not getting any younger) so someone suggested a toner or something of the like, to aid in hydration and prepare my skin for the skincare to follow. Soooooo many of them dried me up like a prune, left my face sticky, gave me bumps, etc. I ran across Eudermine by accident and grabbed a sample because of the beautiful packaging. One use and I was hooked. After a month, I had already ordered backup bottles so I wouldn't risk running out. It makes my skin so smooth, hydrated, and supple. It absorbs almost instantly with no sticky film and really helps with my dehydration issues...I can't imaging not having it in my skincare routine! Having used it morning and night for 3 solid months, along with Bobbi Brown's Extra Repair serum has allowed me to skip the heavy moisturizers and wear a lighter daytime moisturizer, which is something I haven't been able to do since high school! Love love love this product!!!

Can't live without it

Quick Take: non-drying, softening, luxurious
I bought Eudermine only a week ago and I can't live without this. The liquid makes my skin soft and supple without adding oil or any kind of creamy substance. My skin has never felt better. This is great for warm humid days when I can just use this with a serum and no moisturiser. I love the bottle. It looks so beautiful in my room.

I've used MANY toners (or "softeners") that Sephora has to offer, and this one has caught my eye each time I came across it. Some toners usually feel very astringent by an overdose of alcohol and some just feel like water by the lack of alcohol. Whatever the Eudermine is targeted for, it uses the right blend of ingredients to help make my skin feel nice and velvety afterwards
I usually don't care for smells, butt this has a very pleasant aroma when using it. It's also best to use the Shiseido cotton pads to get the full effect!

HORRIBLE bottle design

First off, let me say that I don't like writing bad reviews. But I have to say a few things about this product:
1) The glass bottle design is stupid. The stopper is unwieldy. The bottleneck is too narrow. A tall, skinny GLASS bottle anywhere near a hard surface is just asking to be broken - um, hello?!!.
2) It didn't do anything for my 40-year-old Asian combo skin. While it definitely has a nice, light pleasant scent, it just didn't make my face appear any more bright, hydrated or anything. And I can't imagine that it helps with acne - unless your skin reacts well to alcohol - which is what this product seems to be full of.
3) For this much money, I'd like it to do *something* besides just look nice sitting out.

Quick Take: disappointing, beautifully packaged, pleasantly scented
For years I've been lusting for a bottle of this beautiful bottle that looks like some sort of magical space alien potion. And in person, the packaging really is first-rate. The stopper stays surprisingly snugly in place, I didn't have any of the problems I've read about with glass bottle instability in my medicine cabinet. And when I opened that stopper, the smell was light and lovely. But when I applied, it left my skin feeling oddly ... sticky. The next day, I tried with a lighter hand, but had a similar experience. And then the breakout started. Even in spite of all this I was reluctant to return it -- perhaps it will suddenly start agreeing with my complexion if I'm patient enough? -- but alas, after another few very bad skin days, it had to go back. My pores are much happier since.

This is the best toner I have ever used! It is very moisturizing. It lasts a long time. I bought this in October and Im almost half way through the bottle. Dont be afraid to try it. Perfect for dry skin.

Quick Take: moisturizing, leaves skin soft
I decided to try this out because I needed a softener to put on before my cream. I absolutely LOVE this product!!! The consistency of it is a little viscous so I thought it might leave a bit of stickiness but it didn't. It left my skin well-moisturized and sooooo soft!! It is worth every penny!

It does what it says. My daughter has really bad eczema on her face. Try all type of prescription lotion and creams. Still have some on her face. So when I read other reviews saying it doesn't cuz allergy and they had some kind of skin problem and this product made it go away, I put it on her once a day for 2 days and it went away. It made my face more softer and moisturizing. Really good product.

This is a wonderful product! If you like the feeling you get from using a toner but have found many of them too drying, this is the product for you! I have sensitve skin and this product even works for me without any irritation. Truly love this.........makes my skin feel clean, soft and taken care of.

Absolutely amazing product, after first use of product my pores appeared smaller, skin felt softer, even skin tone, hydrating and DOES NOT DRY OUT YOUR SKIN AT ALL. GREAT FOR ALL SEASONS, DON'T THINK JUST BUY, WORTH EVER SINGLE PENNY!

Quick Take: velvety
The smell reminds me of climbing up into my moms makeup chair and playing with her many skin creams! This product leaves my skin so velvety smooth and moisturized. Being that I have oily skin it works best during the winter, but in the summer I still use it as my nightly regime.

I used it for only a week. I found out my pores are shrinking, and I don't have break outs anymore.
My skin looks and feels softer and younger, like a baby's butt.
But I'm not sure did this product made this happen or it's a coincidence. Because it seems too good to be true.
But it is a little pricey for toner, because I use up a lot in one day.

I have very oily and acne prone skin and was reluctant to buy this product because most lotions cause me to break out. However, this is very different from any lotion I have ever tried! It's a clear liquid and keep my skin moist and refreshed. I've been using it for a month now and it has not make me break out more than my usual.
I love the light, subtle smell. It absorbs into the skin easily and does not leave any sort of residue. One of the best things of this product is the glass container. Some reviewers noted they were afraid of the glass breaking and that it was inconvenient. Most people leave their skin care products in a shelf in their bathroom so I don't see an issue with the glass. To me, with the unique label on the front, it makes the purchase feel much more luxurious than your regular toner... and I didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars.

I love Shiseido products, and this Eudermine Revitalizing Essence is one of my favorites.
I have pretty oily skin but only after I'm outside for a couple hours. When I wash my face in the morning and evening, my face gets pretty dry. This product is EXCELLENT at hydrating and softening my skin. My skin feels very silky after applying.
A lot of essences leave an oily residue or take a while to absorb, but this is fast-absorbing and non-drying. I still use a moisturizer or night cream afterward to add extra hydration and also to use a product with SPF.
There is no scent to it which is excellent because a strong scent can sometimes cause negative reactions on sensitive skin.
One huge downside to this product is the packaging. It was pretty easy to open when I first bought it. However, it is almost impossible to use without pouring too much out because the bottle itself is pretty dark and the solution is clear. Using a cotton ball will absorb too much of the essence and you will waste a lot in the end. A cotton pad will also do the same and may be too rough on your skin. Patting it onto your skin with your hands is recommended as it will absorb into your skin better. I'm not sure why anyone would make a product with this kind of packaging. I would recommend buying a sterile dropper and putting a few drops on your face. You have to keep it upright or else the solution can leak through the top.
Overall, I would recommend this product but a modification is definitely necessary in terms of the packaging.

Beautiful bottle, allows my skin to absorb moisturizer and stay hydrated longer. I have very dry skin, and can now use a light moisturizer with this. Even though alcohol is in the ingredients it doesn't feel drying or irritating at all, even though my skin is very sensitive also.

I was having trouble finding a toner that didn't dry out my face. I would usually get dry patches around my nose during allergy season and they just wouldn't let up. I bought this and will never be without it again. it leaves my skin so even and soft and the bottle is gorgeous,
