I like the White Lucent line especially after I tested the sample kit. This moisturizer is perfect for combination skin type people. I find it light but yet it does not leave my skin dry.

Great Daytime Moisturizer.

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
I tried this lotion as I felt like I needed a change. It is a great lightweight moisturizer with an SPF included. I am in my early 30's and am noticing I need a wee bit more moisture than before so this does the trick quite nicely without being greasy. I would not likely recommend it to anyone with really oily skin. It goes nicely under makeup as well. If you want a higher SPF then the urban protection lotion by this company is a great alternative. I use that as well when I need something for a day in the sun.

Shiseido as my basic line

Quick Take: intensive
My skin is sort of sensitive but get well with shiseido product. I don't feel a great change after using shiseido, but as I don't think a big change is good for your skin. In general, this is my current choice before I find my best product.

Quick Take: lightweight
I bought the entire Shiseido White Lucent line, in the hopes of finding my holy grail product line. After about 3 days, I started to get some red spots, but thought that my skin just needed to get adjusted to the change. However, after about 2.5 weeks, I definitely had some noticeable pimples here and there on my face. I, being stupidly stubborn, still stuck with it for one more week, hoping the the whole purging theory was true, but my breakout did not clear. I'm not sure whether it was this particular product was the cause. It may be something that is in the entire line or just one of them, but I did not want to stick around testing for that any longer. I do have extremely sensitive, combination skin though (to the point that it is annoyingly sensitive), so take this with a grain of salt.
If you do not have sensitive skin, you will love this product. I am very picky when it comes to skincare. But I was surprised at how light but still moisturizing this product was. I always put more sunblock (at least spf 35) after I put this on, but this served as a great foundation.

I love this moisturizer so much, and I use it every single morning. I am careful to put it very close, but not right next to my eyes, and it stays put all day without stinging. I love how light it is and how it feels weightless, so I forget I'm wearing anything. Unlike every other everyday moisturizer I've tried, it does not irritate my skin or make me break out. It is very gentle. I noticed a difference in the brightness and cast of my skin if I don't use it, so I use it religiously. As another reviewer said, about half a pump is needed. This product is wonderful, it's everything I wanted in an everyday moisturizer.

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, smells nice
After trying a million different moisturizers and just about to give up i came across this magical thing. Its light weight, hydrating, has spf, and absorbs really fast. Plus theres no huge heavy scent like in a lot of other brands. This is going to be a permanent staple in my skincare routine.

Quick Take: lightweight
They changed the formula, so it doesn't work as well as the older formula. The older version, everyone noticed a difference in my skintone after 1 month, but this new formula has no effect on skintone at all. Now I just use it as a mild day moisturizer. Will probably not buy again.

This is my moisturizer for spring and summer. I use this after TheSkincare hydro-balancing softener, so my review is not based on its recommended use. With regular use of Shiseido skincare, my face feels fresh and smooth, the oil reduced.
One use requires only 1/2 pump. It is liquidy but not runny, and absorbs quickly after using softener. On my combination-oily skin, shine develops in 3-5hrs. Lightening effect is not significant, but there. Moisturizer stops working midway through the day (5-7hrs). SPF 15 is too thin to provide full protection.

From the reviews I read I expected this product to help brighten my skin. Honestly after two weeks of use I stopped using it and should have returned it now knowing the return policy. Made absolutely no difference in my skin.

I've been using Shiseido for years. My Asian mom forced it on me.... and I'm glad she did. I had been using "The Skincare" line, but now that I am in my 30s, I thought it was time to go to the next level to the White Lucent line. This moisturizer does not disappoint. It's lightweight, moisturizing and makes my skin feel and look awesome. Love it!

i love shiseido products in general,but i can't seem to get the products with sunscreen to work without tearing of the eyes...don't recomend any of the sunscreen lines..for sensitive eyes

This emulsion is amazing in the morning, while absorbing quickly into my skin, but adequately moisturizing my face through the day. Plus, this emulsion is perfect in the morning with some SPF protection. Keeps my combination skin happy :)

Nothing special... Skin felt dry and tight mid-day. Not that mouisturizing as I would've liked considering I have combination skin. Didn't notice any change in hyperpigented spots. Will be exchanging for another product once I have time to.

I don't use a lot of cosmetics but I LOVE this product. It's very lightweight, absorbs quickly, and makes my skin feel soft. SPF is also a big plus. I will definitely buy it again.

I've been using this lotion for 3 weeks and i have to say im in LOVE!! It purchased it because i wanted brighter glowing skin without the need for makeup, and that's exactly what i got. It takes about 2 weeks to see a difference, so be patient. I have combination skin and this product is not oily or heavy. When i do wear makeup my skin looks fresh and dewy.. i love it!

I love, love the White Lucent skincare line. This moisturizer brightens and softens my sensitive, dry skin without causing breakouts or leaving greasy residue. Shiseido really does make remarkable products. My only wish is that they would be a little easier on my pocket.

I have combination acne prone skin and have been looking for a lightweight moisturizer with spf that won't break me out. I bought this about a month ago with the shiseido eye brightening treatment, which I also love! So far this product has not caused break out, and leaves my skin feeling very soft! Since using it I have noticed my skin looking brighter! I am very happy with this product and will use it again!
