Not only for nighttime

Well, I bought this to go with the White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam, and I use it in the morning because I hate the way moisturizers with SPF feel on my skin. So this product is totally light enough for daytime use, too. It's so light it's almost watery, which put me off at first. But then I realized the serious moisturizing power it had and learned to let go of "creamy" moisturizers and embrace the emulsion. Plus, it means less foundation.

Love the way it smells, I like how watery it is. A little goes a long way and it drys pretty fast. If you use toners, serums as things like that, you should wait for it to completely dry first before applying moisturizer. Or else it wil make your whole face a bit sticky.

I've been using this for half a year now. My skin tone has not change at all. And it's way too expensive for something that doesn't work as advertised.

I have oily sensitive skin and I would say I break out pretty easily. I have been using this for about 2 weeks now and I have not broken out and it works well with my sensitive skin! Keeps my face moisturized for the entire day! My favorite part about it is it's whitening effect which is excellent! When my coworker first saw me after a week, the first thing she said to me was "OMG, your face looks so white and pretty! What did you do to it?!"

i think this one didn't help my skin tone get brightening...cuz i have little dark skin (darker then average asian skin tone), but it really makes my skin soft and smooth.

great for winter!

Every winter, I use this before bedtime along with the softener. Sometimes, I use it before heading out. But this is mainly for night time, when my skin gets very dry during cold season.
I own the whole white lucent line except for the serum treatment and eye cream. This line suppose to whiten the skin...but it doesn't. However, I tried the hydrating/Moisturize line and it's not as good as this one. This one make my dry sensitive skin very soft, glowy, and dewy!

Quick Take: does not deliver what it promises.
i do like Shiseido and I am currently using Some of the sun care products, but I have to say that when I used this one. I did not see any change on my skin what so ever. I used it for more than two years the whole white lucent set and nothing changed on my face. I was even disappointed because they did not have the SPF as some cheap creams and lotions do have.
I am glad Sephora has lots of products and it helps you to choose products base on the ratings and comments.

Quick Take: lightweight
this is a light moisturizer and I use this with white lucent intensive spot serun. They work quite well. Since I got this for the summer, I would like to see if it works for my skin in the winter.

Quick Take: sticky, non-absorbent
I bought the entire Shiseido White Lucent line, in the hopes of finding my holy grail product line. After about 3 days, I started to get some red spots, but thought that my skin just needed to get adjusted to the change. However, after about 2.5 weeks, I definitely had some noticeable pimples here and there on my face. I, being stupidly stubborn, still stuck with it for one more week, hoping the the whole purging theory was true, but my breakout did not clear. I'm not sure whether it was this particular product was the cause. It may be something that is in the entire line or just one of them, but I did not want to stick around testing for that any longer. I do have extremely sensitive, combination skin though (to the point that it is annoyingly sensitive), so take this with a grain of salt.
Now, while I would still recommend the daytime white lucent product to people whose skin is not as sensitive as me and whose skin tends to be more dry, I would NOT recommend this nighttime emulsion for anyone. It literally sits on your face and does not absorb well. The product is sticky and comedogenic and I believe that this was one of the major reasons why I broke out.

I have combination skin and so I don't like to use heavy night creams, which is like most night creams on the market. This one is perfect for my skin because it's a light lotion texture and absorbs super quickly. My skin has experienced immediate results.

This is the only moisturizer that I love for my combination skin. It's lightweight, brightens and evens out my skin tone (due to sun damage) and has a wonderful scent that even my husband likes. I'll keep on buying this product even though it's a little pricey.

Quick Take: intensive
I recommend taking a before and after photo of yourself if you use this product. It's been only one month and i'm already seeing results! A brighter and more radiant complexion! It's a little pricey, but a little goes a long way.

I am very picky with my skin care products. I break out if i use anything with spf. This is a nice light product. Does not make your face oily and yet has just the right amount of moisture. I tried many different kinds of shiseido products even the very very expensive ones. This one by far is the best product I have used.

Using this, combined with the toner and eye cream, my skin feels unbelievably soft! The thing I like about this product is that it is so light, not heavy, creamy and oily, yet it is enough to moisturize my dry skin in the desert all day. I also like how Shiseido keeps all these products protected in opaque bottles and the creams/lotions are not open to the air.

I've been using this for 2 months now.
I choose Shiseido because I'm assuming that since it's a japanese product, it should work well with my Asian skin.
So far, I've noticed that my skin is softer and my pores are significantly reduced.
The moisturizer smell nice and should last for a couple of months. I only use 1 pump each time and it's more than enough.

I have tan skin that is prone to breaking out. Once the acne is gone, I'm left with dark spots where the acne once was. These spots are usually there for months. I've been using this in my night-time skin care routine and it's helped both the dark spots and the acne. My skin seems to be breaking out less frequently and is a lot softer to the touch. My only complaint is that it is expensive, but I can say that it works for me so I'll be buying more from this collection.
