best for the beach

Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing
I love this stuff.
I'm at the beach all day and I wanted something that would give me great coverage for my adult acne while protecting me from the sun.
I wish there were more colors because the ochre is too light for me. But it's the best I've found. Headhunter's coloring is way too pink. This is at least neutral even if it does wash me out. I don't mind looking like I'm wearing sunscreen as long as it doesn't make me pink.
It stays on unless you towel it off. So if you dry your face, remember to reapply. It also comes off on my sunglasses but its not a big deal.
I would not use this for regular foundation on days off from the beach. It's a bit too greasy for that.
But if you're a surfer, beach volleyball player or lifeguard you might like this a lot.

Quick Take: buildable coverage
This is the foundation I have been looking for. The coverage is great and covers my pigment spots, which I am sensitive about. It also has high SPF, so that saves time. The only downer about it is that it only comes in two colors. I got beige. You have to make sure you get a powder that matches your skin, or put bronzer over it so you don't look washed out. I got the Shiseido sun protection powder.

Great Product

I am in love with this product! I am 49, I still have acne, I have oily uneven skin and this product covers it all. I wouldn't say I do not need/use added concealer for my occasionally acne, however, this product allows me to use far less than I normally would. I do recommend using a primer, I prefer the look of this product with a primer, however I've used it without & I must say its not bad. It does tend to dry out a little quicker w/out the primer but sometimes I'm lazy or in a hurry! I also read another review that suggested using this as a foundation & concealer, I thought they were insane! LOL! Turns out, it works! One of my favorite all time products!

Great face sunscreen for surfers

Quick Take: long wearing
I was on the hunt for a great face sunscreen that's long wearing and didn't break me out, though my skin is normal, not sensitive. My lifeguard friend recommended this to me. Expensive little stick of sunscreen, you don't need much of it. It blends effortlessly and stays on your face until you take it off. It's long wearing, and I have surfed for 3+ hours my face isn't burnt! I've used this for snowboarding too and it's great as well. Only catch with this though, it doesn't just come off with soap and water, even though it seems like it does. You have to use the shiseido oil to take this off your face. At least I know this is pretty water resistant. I love this stuff and is my holy grail of face sunscreen when it comes to watersports and protecting my face from the sun's harmful rays.

My mom loves this foundation stick and I have been buying this for her last 5 years. This protect her from sun exposure. She really just wants the foundation but she is lazy to put on many things on her face so this 2 in 1 works perfect!

Love this foundation, stays well, good coverage, color is great for my skin. Though I am less concerned about it, it gives SPF coverage. Love that I can order it at Sephora, which I prefer to do because they offer great extras if something is over $25 and free little samples of things! :)

A real multi-tasker

I've been using this product for years as a concealer. I use a tinted moisturizer all over my face and this product is sheer enough to use under eyes, eyelids, and on certain dark pigmentation caused by the sun. It has enough pigment to cover, a high SPF, and travels great. It's a great basic in my makeup bag.

I'm a fan of Shiseido, but had been hesitant to try out this product despite high rating because the stick-shape looks thick and weird as a foundation. However, I gave it a try because I was looking for a foundation with high SPF that will last for prolonged outdoor exercise. This IS it! It feels light and blends so well with my primer and other skincare products. My skin looks flawless with it.
The color is a little too light after I got a tan, but it still looks natural and gives me a radiant look. The only thing that I'm not too happy with it is the size--it's small and probably won't last more than 4 months if used daily.

This product is so easy to use. It blends quickly and stays on all day. The only flaw is its limited color selection. The Ochre works for me only in summer when I'm tan. Shiseido, please add more colors!

Quick Take: terrific
This is a product that I love. It's a great under eye concealer and I actually use it all over my face. I would give it 5 stars if they could manage to make it without some of the more harmful ingredients.
