My first compact broke so I was glad Shiseido sells powder and compact separately - but considering the price of their products, why not try to make better quality compacts? (and the comment could apply to most high end = pricey companies)

Quick Take: oil-free
i think this makeup powdery is just so so .not really good as some others recommended before, no fragrance with oil-free. its really good to control the oil face ,but a little dry to the cheek ,and the T-zone may still a bit oil in the afternoon when u use it in the morning.

This is great for oily skin. It gives me the coverage I need without sitting in my pores. It doesn't float on my skin and make me feel greasy,which is a first. It takes seconds to apply and has a pleasant but very light fragrance. The price is lower than other high rates brands. It's worth it!

For almost 9 months now I've been searching for the perfect powder foundation that has good coverage to wear alone without a liquid foundation (which makes my normal skin SO oily) and this is definitely it! I previously tried bare minerals READY pressed powder foundation (in medium beige) but it would sink into every line on my face after a couple hours of wear and I would have to keep reapplying which was annoying. Not only does Shiseido's Powdery Foundation (in B40.. slightly darker than bare mineral's medium beige) make my skin look flawless, it has amazing buildable coverage (from light to medium/full), looks much more natural than most powders and I can't even feel it on my face at all! I'm so glad I found this foundation!!

I absolutely LOVE this powder! I have very fair, sensitive, break-out prone skin and this powder is perfect for it. It goes on smoothly, provides good coverage, and doesn't make me break out. I've been wearing it for over 2 years now and I adore it.

First of all thank you so much Sephora for making it available!!!!! I absolutely love this powdery foundation!!!! It has the perfect coverage! Not to heavy yet not to light!! Goes on smooth. I can wear this alone with my moisturizer or under my BB cream with color!! Works great!!! I have fair skin and the I20 works perfect for me. I use to use this product but for some reason Shiseido discontinued it! WHY????? PLEASE SEPHORA, DONT EVER STOP SELLING IT!!!!!

When it got discontinued, I could not find a replacement product that came close. This powdery foundation is perfect: natural finish, you can build up the coverage, smells super fresh, great on the go product, and works awesome for oily/combination skin.

I bought this because all ya'll were so psyched about it and, I gotta say, this makeup kills it. Shouts out to everyone who gave this a great review. It's smooth, blends well, smells good, lasts all day, looks natural, and is way cheaper than some of the other makeup that isn't as good. Buy this. You won't be disappointed.

Hands down the best foundation I have ever used. I have combination aging skin and workout excessively. This powder doesn’t streak, doesn’t look heavy, feels lightweight and great for all seasons. I have tried 8 different foundations from Sephora alone and nothing seemed to cover just enough, but not look unnatural. This foundation is good if you want an evened out look as it is not full coverage, but lightly buildable. The colours are deceiving and the lightest colour is LIGHT. I am a strawberry blonde with light skin and I bought the B20 shade but could go darker in summer. Make sure you buy the compact as well as it is sold as a refill only!

Several years ago Shiseido stopped making this! Finally for some reason, it is available again. No other powder makeup combination works so well on my skin.Does provide a soft velvet matte finish that stays over time, doesn't turn orangy or wear off. This is a little pale, however, and I will order the next step up next time.

I've been using this over 10 years. I was highly disappointed when it was discontinued and spent more time then I should have finding a replacement. The closest thing to this was NARS powder foundation, but it just wasn't as good (for me) and cost almost double. I'm so ecstatic this is back. I never got compliments with NARS but I'm getting compliments on my skin again with this powder. My coworker thought I was 8 years younger than I am and asked what I use, she couldn't even tell I had anything on. When I first put it on in the morning I can see where I've applied it, but after an hour I guess it "settles" in it looks completely natural and no one thinks I have makeup on. YES IT DOES COME AS A REFILL BUT ITS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND PROBABLY HELPS KEEP COST DOWN. I love it, please don't take it away again.

Personally, this powder foundation was REALLY heavy and cakey for my skin. It actaully made me look like I had makeup on which was the opposite of what I wanted. Sephora was great with returning and finding me something better for my skin :)

I ordered this product just a couple of weeks ago. As I couldn't find my old powder case I went to The Bay Shiseido counter to inquire about it. She informed me that this product has been discontinued and they don't carry it anymore. That was a quite shocking news as I know my mother had been using it for over a decade and I was just about getting into it. Now I see why it's only available online. I didnt mind buying the blue case instead, looks lovely.

This stuff is so wonderful. Blends in well, dose not stick to my pores. Great coverage wich you can build. Love to wet the sponge that it comes with and apply. People have noticed and I get a lot of compliments. It's worth the price. I wish they still carried it in store. I have purchased this over 5 times. I haven't used it for about a year because I got caught up trying all the new hd products that are meant for models who take pictures, not every day girls cuz the hd foundations are way to thick and heavy. This one feels light,blends easy. Looks and feels great. I wish every one could try it for them selfs cause I no they'll love it.
