Best Foundation So Far- 10.15.09
Quick Take: moisturizing, gel-like, long-lasting
I've tried many a foundation both expensive and inexpensive trying to find the perfect one. This one comes close. It goes on smoothly, does not settle into fine lines and gives excellent coverage. It does not leave me dry and chalky and it lasts all day. I cannot live without it anymore.

My favorite foundation- 10.12.09
Quick Take: natural colors, long lasting, natural looking, good coverage
This is my old faithful. I have never found a foundation that matches my skin color so well, as this one does. Gives alot of coverage. Wierd thing is, this last purchase has me thinking that the company thickened up the formula, because it feels a little different. If you have a light-colored complexion, one of the light colors will probably be great for you. It also looks great all day, with minimal powder touch up.

Ugh!- 09.30.09
Quick Take: moisturizing
I'm keeping this, but so far it really shows my pores and I am dispointed. I'm hoping it will get better with cooler weather. I had wanted a mositurizing makeup, but I can't get a way from my Bare Minerals so far.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I have used many many many liquid foundations over the years. But this Shiseido product is great. I use I40, but in the summer (although I'm not a sun worshipper) I do pickup a little extra color in my face, so I use I60. Great coverage. Remember.. a little bit is all it takes.

Would be good used as theatre foundation- 09.18.09
Quick Take: moisture proof heavy finish
I purchased Soft Ivory and having used Shiseido creme foundation some time ago, I fully expected to like this one for color, consistency and blendability. I was wrong. The Soft Ivory shade could have been used by a mime. Even with a damp makeup sponge it was still difficult to blend. The color at first appeared to be a good match until I looked in my car mirror and saw a line where the makeup stopped even after having spent quite a bit of time inside attempting to blend the foundation along my jaw lline.
If you like or need heavy coverage then I would suggest this one. I won't be buying this again.

I HAVE USED MANY,MANY,MANY FOUNDATIONS OVER THE YRS. MY MAIN PROBLEM WAS THAT BECAUSE I AM VERY FAIR ALL OTHER FOUNDATIONS MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A GHOST.EVEN CUSTOM BLENDS. THAT IS, UNTIL SHISEIDO.IT IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY IMAGINABLE!!! I WILL NEVER SWITCH.

Nice coverage- 08.25.09
I was unsure about ordering this foundation (mostly because of the price), but I was very happy with the product. I don't notice the "lifting" effects, but the coverage is excellent. I don't feel I need to use as much as other foundations for the same coverage.

i love this product! i find that no matter what products i tried out there i find i always go back to my beloved and trusted Shiseido products...it is the best...i look natural and not overmade up under natural lighting or under fluorescent lighting - great even for pictures...very inexpensive way to look 10 years younger!

Sisheido makeup lifting foundation- 05.19.09
Quick Take: moisturizing, good coverage, a bit pricey but well worth it, good for sensitive skin
This products delivers the promises it makes. A bit pricey but well worth it. The coverage is good and it hydrates my skin at the same time. No huge perfume, which is good for my sensitive skin. The only down side is, for me, the fact that it is a bit more thick then the foundation I used so far (and cannot get anymore in Canada) and that it makes it a bit trickier to apply with a sponge. I now start with my fingers and finish with the sponge for a more unified look and it's working perfectly...

I was hesitant about this because of the cost, but a dab about the size of 1/3 to 1/2 a pea covers my whole face adequatley -- well worth it, and cheaper by volume of use than the "cheap" stuff! Leaves my skin feeling and looking nice.

I've tried a lot of different foundations, but overall I've stuck with this one even though it's a little pricier than others. I like the creamy sort of light whipped feeling it has, it goes on smooth and completely covers my blemishes and pimples and gives me a very smooth, flawless appearance, I would seriously recommend trying this out at least once for yourself.

It's true that it feels very thick when you first put the foundation on but it's really easy to spread it out. This foundation offers good coverage and it feel quite hydrating, I don't have to mix it with moisturizers to add moisture to my skin. I used HD Make up forever foundation before and I would prefer this Shiseido one to HD

I have been using the Shiseido Makeup Lifting Foundation for several years and I tried several other makeup foundations before and I always return to Shisheido. Gives such a natural look. Skin looks young, even. It's a fabulous product. Would not change. Same price range as other good brand names.
