I've had better- 11.14.09
Not a bad powder, but not the best wither. Alos, it is quite perfumed, which isn't bothersome to me, but would be to a lot of uses. I won't buy again, but won't be returning either.

Quick Take: sheer coverage, oil-absorbing, reduces shine, give your face a nice glow
I love this product. It is very lightweight, controls shine without drying out or looking cakey, goes on very evenly. I was skeptical about the brush applicator, but I was pleasantly surprised. I found the scent very light and pleasant. It did not irritate my sensitive skin and I cannot smell it on. The L1 is invisible on my very fair skin.

I love this stuff.- 09.11.09
It goes on light, gives a nice radiance to the skin, has a lovely scent, and stays on all day with no problems. It's easy to remove as well. Definitely worth it.

The Makeup Luminizing Color Powder+ (case)- 06.02.09
Quick Take: oil-absorbing, reduces shine
After using the luminating power, I switched to golden beige. I was hoping to find apricot, but i guess that particular shade has been discontinued. Like the golden beige color, and Love the case. The powder sucks all the oil from my t-zone, which is definitely what I was shooting for. And the case is amazing with it's brush, and how it separates the powder and the brush.
The Makeup Luminizing Color Powder is a super fine pressed powder that gives the ultimate finish to your make-up application. The brush is very soft and top quality on the face. An added bonus is the soft sweet scent!
I have fair combination skin and the L3 is my favorite powder. I dont like heavy coverage but I do want coverage and this powder does the job! It also does not leave your complexion flat, but with a healthy looking glow that looks natural. This powder is also pretty oil absorbing, lasts a long time. If I need to use it to blot, it's perfect because it doesnt build up and look "cakey".

Quick Take: sheer coverage, reduces shine
I have this in translucent, golden beige and apricot. All are lovely colors. The brush that comes in the compact (sold separately) is great. I don't usually wear foundation, so I just apply this to bare skin to set my blusher, concealer and eye makeup. The powder is sheer and does not give a cakey look. I could do without the smell but it's not strong and goes away quickly. The powder gives my skin a natural look that's not too matte. I don't reapply it during the day, but I don't have a problem with excess oil.

flawless finish- 04.15.09
Quick Take: sheer coverage, oil-absorbing
Love this powder. I have always relied on Shiseido powder for my finishing touch. The quality is comparable to Chanel but the price is better. Beautiful compacts.

Absorb Oil- 04.09.09
Quick Take: sheer coverage, oil-absorbing
A great product for oily skin. My face looks so natural since I started using this powder. It lasts long as well, I putted it on at 6:00am and I don't have to worry about mixing my make up till late afternoon; I have extremely oily skin! Love it and highly recommend it anyone.

Contains Irritating Fragrance, No Luminosity- 04.05.09
Quick Take: very irritating, not luminous
I ordered the L1 Translucent, hoping for a powder that would add luminosity and not a lot of color to my pale skin. (I would get color from my blush.) After I used it I felt like peeling my face off and discovered that perfume is one of the ingredients. (When are cosmetic companies going to stop putting fragrance in their products?!) On top of that, the powder did not make my skin luminous.

flawless- 03.19.09
Quick Take: sheer coverage, reduces shine
makes your skin look flawless. i love this product, It reduces the shine yet makes your skin look radiant at the same time.
I bought this twice already. I bought this mainly because I thought it would be a good alternative to the Guerlain Méteorites powder (which is great but pricey) because of the color combinations. It turned out that it is a good choice. I have oily skin and this was really helpful in controlling the oil.
The lighter shade in Shiseido's luminizing powder works great for me as a highlighter for my cheekbones, cupids' bow and chin and the darker color works great for contouring under the cheekbone. I have very oily skin so I don't like to use any type of powder that has too much of a shimmer to it, but the shimmer is very subtle in this powder...not overwhelming by any means. Great luminizer.

Shiseido Luminizer- 12.07.08
I love to use this as a bronzer. I am always looking for bronzers with very little glitter and this works very well. I use it religiously. I always have a refill ready to go. Just pop the old one out and click the new one in. The convenience of the brush under the mirror is awesome too.
I got the translucent one and I think it's perfect for me. My face tends to be oily a couple of hours after i put on makeup. I just swipe this on my forehead and nose, and the shine is gone. It doesn't make you dry-matte, it makes you look like you're naturally glowing. This is also great as a finishing powder and a highlighter under the eyes. The shimmer in this powder is really subtle. It's not kid-glittery. Just pretty subtle shimmers. I have to say, the compact with the brush is worth the money. The quality of the brush is not cheap at all, its very soft. It's also a good thing that a brush comes with the compact so you won't have a problem taking a powder brush with you. The powder itself is really fine, it feels good on the skin. i highly recommend this to everyone!

Quick Take: multi-purpose
This compact is very convinient for those who like to use high- and low-light techniques--all of your shades are right there. Or, conversely, you can use as a bronzer and then a finishing powder, so this makeup is actually very multi-purpose.

Quick Take: sheer coverage, oil-absorbing, reduces shine, softly luminescent, whisper-light, concentrated!, l1 is excellent for fair complexions
I love this powder. I was a bit skeptical when I saw the separated colors, but on the face, they make sense; they balance each other out to give you a flawless finish. I adore L1 on my hopelessly un-tannable skin. it imparts a finished glow to the skin and is undetectable- you just look like you have lovely skin. I have had my compact and powder for over a year, and there is still plenty of product remaining. you get a nice little flat brush as well, which helps to keep application more controllable. one little whisk across my nose, cheeks, forehead and my shine is gone. I love this product's whisper-light formula as well. a great product, obviously made with great care.
