Love the Shimmer and Glow- 09.07.09
Quick Take: soft shimmer
I use the beige shimmer just about every work day, it add just enough shimmer and highlight that I look rested and fresh, I use a little more on those days I'm not. It's also a good value, you don't use much at a time, its very portable and it case really secures the powder and brush.

Expensive but super convenient- 02.27.09
Quick Take: soft shimmer
I love this product and finally bought it after using it for the first time 3 years ago. Took some time to buy cause of the price but Im glad I finally did. I love how easy this product is to use and the color is good on any skin tone. I have very fair skin and it looks great on me. You can put lots of it on for a more dramatic look or just a bit for a light glow. Totally worth the cost!!!

Too shimmery for me...- 01.16.09
Quick Take: shimmery
Shiseido's luminizing powder is way too shimmery for me. I have very oily skin and I shy away from products with too much shimmer and this has way too much shimmer. I tried using it on my cheekbones, forehead, bridge of my nose and chin to add a luminous glow, but ended up feeling like I looked oily instead of glowing. I think this would work better for those without oily skin.
I looked for a highlighter powder for ever and bought this thinking it would be terrible like the rest. Now that I've used the Beige Shimmer for years I can tell you that it always looks subtle, lovely and brightens up my fair skin. I sweep this across the top of my eyebrows and cheek bones and down my (too short) nose. The automatic brush that pops up at the touch of a button is brilliant and one wand lasts forever (really and I use quite a lot of it).
These powders are a great innovation; the powder is in the colored portion and the brush is built right in. And you can adjust how much powder will be on the brush when you are ready to use it by simply twisting the brush in the container. I have used all three colors, and while I personally prefer the Beige Shimmer (it looks like a natural, pearly highlighter on my skin, and not too dramatic), all three colors are nice. The bronzer is probably the best shade I have ever seen, and it doesn't have shimmer. The white is good for either very fair skin tones or for a more dramatic look at night. Both of the lighter colors are shimmer, and all three can be layered easily. The brush is soft natural hair and is covered over with a metal sheath at the push of a button so that it will not be damaged when you replace it in the color cylinder.

Best bronzer on the market!- 09.11.08
Quick Take: natural bronze no shimmer
The portability of this is amazing - and the color of the bronzer is most natural i've tried. It's a bit expensive but i keep buying it because it really has been consistent.
