love the double sided eyeliner in moonscape...just the right amount so that I can buy a fresh eyeliner more often than if I bought 2 individual eyeliners. A quick simple eye makeup routine for those mornings when you just want a little sparkle...

Shiseido eyeliner pencil duo- 08.14.09
Quick Take: smudgable
I like the idea that there's 2 different colors. I also like the fact that you can use it as an eyeliner and as an eyeshadow. The only thing is if you have double eyelids, it will smudge and make it look like someone hit you in the eye.

Excellent Eyeliners!- 08.03.09
Quick Take: long wearing, waterproof, smudgable
I tried Moonscape and Desert Dusk. These eyeliners are so convenient because the colors really do complement each other. I almost never use eye liners, but after using these, I may just become a regular :) They are really soft, and the colors are extremely flattering. I recommend Moonscape for a more dramatic look - the shimmery white side is excellent for brightening the eyes. Desert Dusk is a very neutral color, and looks nice, but I feel that it is even too light for my tastes. Probably better for more professional settings, though. I have Asian eyes, and highly recommend Moonscape. These pencils are a bit on the pricey side (as Shiseido products tend to be), but they're wonderful!

one of the best eyeliners i have. it doesn't get smudged easily and the white lines enlarges my eyes when i apply it at the bottom of my eye. love it!

Quick Take: long wearing, smudgable, versatile
actually I don't but I love the purple shade! it emphasizes the shade of my dark brown eyes XD!!!! it glides on smoothly and the pencil tip is really soft. it is also less intense than black liners. the green is nice too but i don't use it as often because it does not always complement my eyeshadows. sometimes I apply the green on the inside corners and then apply a white sparkily shadow on top of the green to highlight and open my eyes

Shiseido's eyeliner pencil duos are an amazing concept that actually works. The two colors compliment each other incredibly well...I never would have thought of putting the colors in these duos together, but they are incredible. These pencils glide on like melted butter (no pulling or tugging required), they are easy to smudge and blend and have real staying power once they've set. This is a fantastic, long wearing pencil that works great.

Great Product- 01.14.09
Quick Take: long wearing, smooth, doesn't tug/pull eyelids
I have this in the black shade and I have used it down to a nub. I have sensitive eyes and wear contacts but this eyeliner has never bothered me, even when I use it on the waterline. It wears all day without smudging/smearing and goes on like a dream!

I originally bought this in Electric Iris, mostly for the pearly lime-green shade, but I ended up using the dark-purple shade more often. The pearly liner is too soft for my tastes, and I couldn't build up the color intensity as much as I'd have liked to. It's not a bad product, but I don't quite think it was worth the money.

These pencils are gorgeous. They glide on like butter and the colors are amazing. My personal favorites were Moonscape and Desert Dusk--the highlighter shade in Desert Dusk looks good on everyone, more of a light beigey-buff color than the starker white from Moonscape. Not onle do these pencils apply beautifully, but they blend really well, too.
