Did not hold curl on asian lashes

Yet again I am searching for a mascara that will hold a curl on stick straight asian lashes. But this is not the one for me. it did not hold the curl and undid the curl from my lash curler. It did give me then straight lashes some volume and length. If you have naturally curly lashes this mascara might work for you because it does what it states.

ive probably used some of the highest rated mascaras in the market but fiberwig is def the one for me. NO raccoon eyes but a lots of definition and lengthening! best mascara ive EVER used.

No more raccoon eyes! This mascara stays on all night and into the next day. Goes on easily and stays put. They "slides" off with warm water. It is truly amazing and my new favorite makeup find!

Quick Take: lengthening, defining, easy to remove, great for people w/ contact lenses
i've used this before but was switching back and forth from a different waterproof mascara. i found that the other waterproof mascara i was using was so hard to remove- i actually had to go to my optometrist when my eyes were starting to sting when i put my contact lenses in. it turned out that there was still some residue from my old waterproof mascara that was irritating my eyes. needless to say i switched back to fiberwig because it's so easy to remove and still makes my lashes look fabulous.

I was floored when I tested on one eye and saw my lashes double in length. No more dark circle under the eye no matter how hot and humid the weather. Then at the end of the night, just splash warm water and the mascara comes off as a solid so it doesn't smear everywhere. I have to say that application of this product is not the easiest; but if you get a "glob" on the lashes first then brush from the base of the lashes outwards, it should work wonders.

This is a great mascara! This goes on very liquidy/silky and the fibers never flake off! I went swimming with it the other day and was repeatedly splashed by my son. I was worried it would be a mess but it didn't budge....very cool. It is so easy to remove too. Just splash with water and gently pull off-no tugging!

I purchased this based on the recommendation of the sales rep but when I used it, the product did not live up to the hype. At the end of the day, there were small, black fibers under my eyes and some of them got in my eyes as well.

Quick Take: lengthening
I absolutely love this mascara! I have those thin, stubby asian lashes that I thougth for awhile could only achieve length with eye lash extensions. However, the company is true to its word and this product delivers. Also, it's a big plus that at the end of the day, you have no racoon eyes.

I adore this mascara. It provides great lash lengthening effects. No smudging, even in 100+ degree, humid Florida summer weather, or while in the pool, etc. When you wash it off with warm water, the pieces of mascara slide off the lashes. I don't think it lengthens my lashes to the "false eyelash-like" point that the product claims, and for that, I give 4 stars instead of 5. I think some of the double-ended lengthening mascaras actually build longer lashes (such as Bourjois Coup de Theatre), but I love the smudge-free Fiberwig formula, and one-step application.

This is great mascara. I wouldn't agree that it looks like false eyelashes, but that is not the look I am after anyway. It lengthens and darkens even the light lower lashes nicely and DOES NOT SMUDGE! It goes on well, stays on and washes away easily. Excellent stuff, I've thown out my other mascaras.

I have very short, thin, straight lashes and I have always wanted long, thick, curly lashes. I have tried dozens of different mascaras, both designer and drugstore brands, and a few different eyelash curlers. Up until I heard about FIberwig, I was using Diorshow mascara, which I love. Diorshow is a great thickening mascara, but not so great for length. Since I want both, plus curl, I curl my lashes with the Shu Uemura lash curler, apply Diorshow to the root of my lashes, apply FIberwig to the ends, wait for it to dry and curl again. It seems tedious, but the results are AMAZING. Diorshow thickens, FIberwig lengthens my lashes so they touch my eyebrows, and the Shu Uemura curler makes them look fabulous!
This mascara isn't, however, good for volume.

I love, love LOVE the way my eyes look with this mascara. Not quite to the extent that I look as though I'm wearing falsies, but the dark black color and lush texture make a dramatic framing for my brownish/greenish eyeballs. Get this stuff.

Good mascara...but wish it held a curl

First off, I loved this mascara when I tried it in the store. It lengthened ALOT, and it defined my lashes. I thought that it would hold a curl, because in-store it looked like my lashes were curling a bit. After I bought it and took it home, it still had the same lengthening/defining qualities it had, but it wouldn't hold a curl! I used the Shu Uemura curler, and it curled my lashes, but they fell about 20 minutes after I put the product on. I would still recommend this product to people, but I wish it held a curl, which is why I rated it 4/5 stars.

This is a nice product except that it costs an arm and a leg and it dries out twice as fast as other brands which I replace every three months. The little fibers tend to flake off throughout the day, as well.
