An Unexpected Use- 10.06.09
Quick Take: crease resistant, color correcting
I got a free sample of this product and used it under my eyes and in the corner to counteract darkness under the skin. It worked remarkably well. It lasts all day and doesn't travel into my creases, and the color is just fine for me. I'm giving only 4 stars because I think it's a small quantity for the money. Other than that, I like this a lot.

It covers everything! I love it, but you have ti find you match color first!
This is the first time I've used this product and I can tell you, it won't be the last!!! It feels refreshing on my eyelids and it really does keep my eyeshadow looking great all day until I am ready to wash it off. When I apply the Clarins eye perfecting base, it makes the skin on my eyelids feel tighter...and I like that! I highly recommend this product.

Clarins Instant Light Eye Perfecting Base eyelid primer did a great job of evening out the skintone of my eyelids. I have very oily skin and this worked well preventing my eyeshadow from creasing for the biggest part of the day, but it still didn't hold up as long as Urban Decay's Primer Potion. On someone who is not as oily as I am I'm sure it would hold up really well and still deserves four stars.

As a 62 year old nurse who keeps crazy hours, this stuff is the best. I will never be without it. A little on the eyelids and the inner corners of your eyes and you look awake and alert. Brightens the entire eye on those days when you can hardly drag yourself out of bed. Wear it alone on those days when you don't have time to "do" your eyes.

This is a really nice eyeshadow base ...perfect neutral base and give eyes a brightening lift...I wear it alond when I don't feel like wearing eyeshadow and looks bright and natural

Quick Take: necessary
Instant LIght Eye Perfecting Base is a must have product; without it, I might as well skip shadow and liner. The base makes shadows appear in truer shades and prevents fading. Honestly, it has made me want to wear eye makeup every day, because the results are so much better than I experienced before I used this product.
