Just what I need- 11.06.09
Quick Take: moisturizing, mattifying, lightweight
I love the look of a matte face, and I think this is the best foundation to achieve the look. Mat Velvet gives a really matte soft look to your face, which is the "in look" for the fall and winter season. It has a soft finish, while moisturizing my face, and giving a good amount of covering. I usually apply it all over my face, and just dab a little more on areas where I have acne or acne scars, it covers the scars and takes away the redness of pimples without further aggravating it or looking cakey. I HATE CAKEY FOUNDATION!! But I LOVE this product and the Make Up Forever HD powder is a perfect match to complete this look.

I actually really liked this foundation. I have oily combo skin and I am always looking for a foundation that will get me further into the day without touch ups. With this one I can go about 4 hours before I feel like I need to powder, which for me is great. Also, even when my shine comes through, the make up itself does not slide off my face which is wonderful. My only issue is that I do have combo skin so this foundation dries me out a lot on some parts of my face so I cant use it for more than 2 days in a row. But when I do use it, I really like it.

I was really happy when I heard this will work with my oil prone/acne skin, then I put it on and about an 1/2 hour later i looked cakey. I dont use liquid foundation at all I only have been using powder only for about 10 years now. In the past I used liquid and i was hoping this would help with that shine you get but it didn't so much for me. Maybe my primer was the problem, i may give it another chance some day.

LIFE CHANGING!!!- 11.04.09
This is THE BEST liquid foundation I have ever used. I have oily skin pron to breakouts. I can wear this paired up with the duo matte pressed powder all day without any touch ups or shine. I have some scars left from past breakouts and this covers everything without feeling or looking cakey. Its absolutely amazing.

I have tried many many foundations over the years and I found the MUFE face and body to be nice, but my makeup has a tendency to wear off quickly. I thought this would be a good alternative. I liked it at first but I soon realized that it slid off quicker than other foundations I have tried! It looks a bit flat as well. I am returning it.

This is by far the best foundation I have ever used! I love love love it and it is a must have for me! At first there is a bit of a learning curve on application since it is so pigmented. But I love how you only need a small amount. A bottle lasts about 4 months for me. And I wear makeup practically everyday! Well worth the $$!

I have extremely oily skin and I have tried several different foundations liquid and mineral. This foundation is pricey for what I am used to spending but I would say it is a good buy. You use very little product to get good coverage. It keeps oil to a minimum although I have to use blotting papers but end of the day. I guess I can expect it since I have VERY oily skin.

In reality it is a good foundation but its not the best.. I have definitely tried better. I love MUFE, their the only brand that i go directly to when i go to Sephora. This foundation sort of oxidizes on my skin after a few hrs and that definitely not a good look. But overall if you use a good setting powder, the foundation's staying power is much better.

Best Foundation Ever!!!- 10.28.09
I've tried loads of foundations from Dior's Flash spray, Fresh, Laura Mercier, etc. Nothing comes close to Make Up For Ever. I have super super super oily skin and all other foundations just come off. I just blot with Shisedo blotters and use the Make Up For Ever for touch ups. This is the best that stays on pretty well. I highly recommend it.
